Produce accurate, high-quality technical drawings and modify existing plans in line with design requirements.
Use AutoCAD and other relevant software to develop and detail façade, cladding, and roofing systems.
Coordinate drawing storage, filing, and retrieval to maintain efficient document control.
Ensure all designs comply with current industry standards, health and safety regulations, and company procedures.
Carry out site visits and surveys to gather measurements and technical information when required.
Prepare working drawings and manufacturing documentation for use in fabrication and installation stages.
Collaborate effectively with the Design Manager, engineers, and wider project teams to achieve project objectives.
Identify and resolve design issues promptly, proposing effective solutions.
Maintain clear and accurate project records, ensuring drawings are kept up to date throughout the design process.
Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
Previous CAD experience within cladding, roofing, or façade design.
Proficient in AutoCAD (experience with Revit or similar 3D design software advantageous).
Strong technical knowledge of construction detailing and design standards.
Ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively within a team environment.
