A well-established organisation in the UK automotive aftermarket is looking to appoint a Warehouse Operations Manager to join its growing team.
With decades of experience supporting a wide network of independent retailers, the company plays a key role in helping businesses remain competitive and resilient in a fast-changing market.
As Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse facility.
You'll lead a team to ensure all stock handling, distribution, and logistical processes run smoothly, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and productivity.
Our ideal candidate will have experience as a Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor in automotive parts, FMCG or similar industries.
The Role:
Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, including goods in/out, order picking, packing, stock control, and dispatch.
Manage and develop a warehouse team including supervisors, pickers, and drivers - fostering a positive and performance-driven culture.
Oversee the implementation and improvement of warehouse procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure all health & safety and compliance standards are met or exceeded.
Monitor stock levels and collaborate with purchasing to optimise inventory flow and space.
Manage returns, damages, and discrepancies swiftly and professionally.
Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to maintain accurate stock records and reporting.
Liaise with internal departments (Sales, Purchasing, Logistics) to support business performance and service levels.
Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the warehouse.
The Candidate:
Proven experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role, preferably in automotive or fast-moving goods.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Sound understanding of warehouse health & safety regulations.
Experience with WMS and Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
A hands-on approach with a focus on team collaboration and efficiency.
Forklift licence (counterbalance and/or reach) preferred but not essential.

These are individual dwellings in which residents enjoy independent living.
Scheme Managers support residents in maintaining dignity and independence.
The Scheme Managers will provide support at all the house estates, dependent on the schedule of cover and staff leave.
There are 48 houses.
The Scheme Managers support the residents in the houses and assist one another in dealing with emergencies at all times.
All Scheme Managers work in accordance with a schedule of duty periods and free time.

A Careline emergency alarm system is in operation in each house.

Our client, a leading environmental consultancy, is seeking a skilled Asbestos Surveyor to join their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in supporting the company's mission to become a top 5 company in the asbestos testing and surveying industry.
Position Overview
As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting site-based inspection surveys and analytical identification of potential asbestos fibres in the air, in line with the company's accredited in-house procedures and HSG 248.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with UKAS requirements, international standards, and national legislation related to asbestos.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site-based inspection surveys and analytical identification of potential asbestos fibres in the air - clients will be based predominantly around the M25
- Perform all types of air tests and 4-stage clearances following asbestos abatement works
- Represent the company on-site, setting strategic guidance and values
- Ensure compliance with UKAS requirements, international standards, and national legislation related to asbestos
- Maintain and secure equipment, record data legibly, and manage samples appropriately
- Provide support to the Technical/Quality Manager
- Maintain a professional demeanour when interacting with customers and working on their premises
- Participate in quality control activities, audits, and maintain good communication with colleagues
- Ensure mobile lab cleanliness and equipment functionality
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant standards, legislation, and guidance
- Complete clearly defined assignments set by management in the absence of site work
Requirements
- Minimum of BOHS P402, P403, and P404 or equivalent RSPH certification
- Relevant experience allowing immediate consideration for admittance to the company's QC/Audit scheme
- Competent, knowledgeable approach with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and maintain good communication across all levels and platforms
- Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety and risks to people and property in the working environment
