JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The WTI Field Resources Supervisor (Supervisor) is responsible for the timely delivery of services, profitability, and all employee management and training within their respective region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate with the Field Resource Foreman (Foreman) for staffing and scheduling of all WTI Field Resources Reps (Field Reps) in their respective region to ensure proper utilization of manpower on specific jobs for the highest profitability.
Collaborate with other Supervisors as necessary.
Oversee the Quality Control (QC) process in conjunction with the Quality Control Specialist (QCS) of all the Field Reps in the region, which will include random site visits to current and previous job sites and proper documentation to ensure that all work was completed properly and that the customer is fully satisfied.
Ensure profitability within the region by monitoring and managing employee expenses for accuracy and abuse, use of overtime hours, and all full-time personnel's billable time to meet the required percentage.
The Supervisor should stress the profitability factor to all field personnel.
Field all questions and concerns from the Field Reps and handle all discrepancies between the Field Reps and the Sales Reps.
Conduct and foster professional and timely communication (via email, text message, voicemail, or in person) with the customers, Sales Reps, field staff, and internal company personnel on all work-related matters.
Be the primary contact for the office personnel if there are any issues concerning a Field Rep.
Ensure all Field Reps will have a professional appearance and demeanor while completing services for a customer.
Conduct and/or assist with the training (both hands-on field training and classroom setting) for the Field Reps, according to the WTI Training Policy, to include:
Proper completion of all services and related paperwork.
Safety training and training documentation for all Field Reps within the region.
Approval and certification of each Field Rep, including, but not limited to, OSHA Hazard Awareness, Toolbox Talks, etc.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of all services provided.
Manage, monitor, and document the performance of Field Reps and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work-related issues.
Consult with the Regional Business Manager (RBM) and HR as needed.
Work with the HR and Recruiting department to hire all new personnel.
Ensure all required paperwork is submitted to the corporate office on a timely basis.
Conduct new employee orientation for all new hires, including training on all company policies, administrative processes, procedures, and required technical and safety information.
Handle all administrative matters and corresponding paperwork within the region, including, but not limited to, expense management, monthly sales projections, Field Tech time management, status reports, bidding jobs with Reps, large job sign-offs, project documentation, etc.
Review time reports daily and make necessary corrections with the admin team.
Attend all required calls and meetings.
Perform any other duties and/or projects as required or assigned by the RBM.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
30-hour OSHA certification (The company will provide it if needed.)
Registered Roof Observer (RRO) is preferred but not required. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Qualifications:
Prior supervisory skills and ability to manage people and tasks.
Prior roofing experience, including patch and repair skills.
Knowledge of Project Management, planning, and scheduling.
Knowledge and experience in monitoring and maintaining quality control.
Functional computer skills.
Safety training and OSHA knowledge.
Understanding of budgeting and expense management.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $115,000 - $150,000, bonus eligible

JOB PURPOSE:
As a Flooring Specialist, your main focus will be to build and maintain strong, effective customer relationships in the resinous concrete coatings industry by acting as the principal contact with concrete floor coating contractors and distributors in and around the Dallas, Fort Worth area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Grow overall flooring business by working with contractors & suppliers. Identify concrete coating contractors and develop strong relationships with key contacts. Work with team members to grow and develop flooring distribution business. Maintain regular contact with customers to understand needs and to identify business opportunities. Facilitate product recommendations, application, performance and color. Provide timely and accurate customer quotations and work with corporate team for specification writing. Work with the Rust-Oleum credit department to manage customer accounts. Manage territory budgets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous Resinous or Industrial Concrete Coatings Flooring Industry Experience is required (sales & installing) Must currently reside in the assigned territory and be able to travel 40-50% of the time. Must possess a valid Driver's License and have maintained a motor vehicle record within acceptable limits as prescribed by Rust-Oleum. Periodic evening and weekend hours required for Co-Op Shows and customer events. Must possess exceptional follow-up skills. Demonstrated problem-solving skills - dealing with customer complaints in a timely manner to identify appropriate solutions. Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in a written or oral format. Requires appropriate interpersonal skills to effectively analyze a customer's business and successfully communicate how our products and services can meet and/or exceed their needs. Ability to understand pricing, calculate discounts, and profit associated with selling price; ability to calculate commissions associated with territory performance. Ability to analyze territory performance reports and develop sales territory business plans. Physical Requirements:
This position requires some physical activity including but not limited to standing/kneeling/walking/sitting on concrete for approximately 50% of workday.

Administer and monitor industrial hygiene sampling and communicate exposure information and/or personal protective equipment requirements to employees.
Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics.
Maintain the health & safety statistics database.
Provide coaching and support to employees, supervision, and management to proactively address safety, health, and environmental risks and concerns.
Initiate or assist in efforts to continuously improve the overall working environment in the facility.
Provide technical assistance, training, and work direction to colleagues in other departments.
Analyze problems, identifying alternative solutions, and implementing recommendations in support of the Company safety goals and objectives.

Roles and responsibilities as a Plant Manager; You will be a proven Operations Manager/ Factory Manager / Manufacturing Manager / Plant Manager, with a track record delivering improvements in culture, efficiency and productivity.

Accustomed to managing budgets and capex
Knowledge of Engineering Maintenance and Plant based improvements would also be a distinct advantage although not essential
A strong appreciation for health and safety, ideally supported with a formal qualification, although training can be provided
