GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Technical Communications Specialist provides technical support for assistance to distributors, applicators, contractors, chemists, engineers, sales, technical service department subordinates, and customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide front line phone coverage for Technical Services.
Leverage SAP systems to complete notifications as product specialist.
Take turns with the general department mailbox and answer e-mails received and respond or forward to appropriate product specialist.
Work cooperatively with peers to ensure adequate, consistent phone coverage throughout the day with increased sensitivity for needs from 8:00-8:30, 5:00-5:30 and during staggered lunch hours.
Occasional flexibility required to accommodate vacations and excused absences.
Handle application questions from the sales force where appropriate.
Support the proper application of Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing products, meeting company and industry guidelines, utilizing written and verbal communications.
Write Technical Bulletins as needed.
Assist in preparing adhesion/compatibility test reports drawn from data prepared by the application lab tech.
Target is 24-hour turn- around time, not to exceed 48 hours.
Attend regular meetings, represent the technical services department, communicate actions, results and other information as required. Assist in the product complaint process. Participate in Teams or Projects as requested that takes advantage of your knowledge and experience. Perform other miscellaneous tasks as requested/required.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's degree in construction, Engineering, Science, or similar field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: One to two years experience in technical service or customer service in a similar or related field or industry.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The WTI Field Resources Supervisor (Supervisor) is responsible for the timely delivery of services, profitability, and all employee management and training within their respective region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate with the Field Resource Foreman (Foreman) for staffing and scheduling of all WTI Field Resources Reps (Field Reps) in their respective region to ensure proper utilization of manpower on specific jobs for the highest profitability.
Collaborate with other Supervisors as necessary.
Oversee the Quality Control (QC) process in conjunction with the Quality Control Specialist (QCS) of all the Field Reps in the region, which will include random site visits to current and previous job sites and proper documentation to ensure that all work was completed properly and that the customer is fully satisfied.
Ensure profitability within the region by monitoring and managing employee expenses for accuracy and abuse, use of overtime hours, and all full-time personnel's billable time to meet the required percentage.
The Supervisor should stress the profitability factor to all field personnel.
Field all questions and concerns from the Field Reps and handle all discrepancies between the Field Reps and the Sales Reps.
Conduct and foster professional and timely communication (via email, text message, voicemail, or in person) with the customers, Sales Reps, field staff, and internal company personnel on all work-related matters.
Be the primary contact for the office personnel if there are any issues concerning a Field Rep.
Ensure all Field Reps will have a professional appearance and demeanor while completing services for a customer.
Conduct and/or assist with the training (both hands-on field training and classroom setting) for the Field Reps, according to the WTI Training Policy, to include: Proper completion of all services and related paperwork. Safety training and training documentation for all Field Reps within the region. Approval and certification of each Field Rep, including, but not limited to, OSHA Hazard Awareness, Toolbox Talks, etc.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of all services provided.
Manage, monitor, and document the performance of Field Reps and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work-related issues.
Consult with the Regional Business Manager (RBM) and HR as needed.
Work with the HR and Recruiting department to hire all new personnel.
Ensure all required paperwork is submitted to the corporate office on a timely basis.
Conduct new employee orientation for all new hires, including training on all company policies, administrative processes, procedures, and required technical and safety information.
Handle all administrative matters and corresponding paperwork within the region, including, but not limited to, expense management, monthly sales projections, Field Tech time management, status reports, bidding jobs with Reps, large job sign-offs, project documentation, etc.
Review time reports daily and make necessary corrections with the admin team.
Attend all required calls and meetings.
Perform any other duties and/or projects as required or assigned by the RBM.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: 30-hour OSHA certification (The company will provide it if needed.) Registered Roof Observer (RRO) is preferred but not required. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Qualifications: Prior supervisory skills and ability to manage people and tasks. Prior roofing experience, including patch and repair skills. Knowledge of Project Management, planning, and scheduling.

JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
This role educates WTI personnel on proper product use and application, provides installation training on and off the roof, and oversees large self-performed projects from start to finish with intermittent inspections and post-completion inspections of smaller projects.
The QCS will perform regular job site visits during the project and after project completion.
The goal is to provide consistency across the country with proper roof repairs and application of our products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure proper execution and delivery of all WTI GS and GC self-performed roofing work. Provide a variety of technical and application training sessions in the field and in a shop setting. Provide hands-on application training and supervision of roof coatings and installation. Attend pre-con's on large projects.
Be present at job start-ups to discuss the proper execution of the scope of work.
Visit the projects at specific intervals to assess the completed work and provide any direction or corrective advice.
Perform a pre-final inspection to ensure that the projects have a zero punch list.
Perform final inspections when needed.
Pre-project field inspections and technical support including but not limited to: Peel tests Product recommendations Proper product installations Post-project completion inspection to ensure quality workmanship and proper utilization and application of materials. Product diagnostic support to ensure that WTI is kept out of trouble in misuse of products for the situation. Perform roof inspections with written reports and photo documentation. Perform safety audits while on site to ensure all safety requirements are being met and consult with the safety team when necessary. Complete daily reports, including DTAs, safety audits, truck audits, and QC inspection reports, as necessary and applicable. Complete weekly/monthly activity reports as requested. Support the region as needed when the weather conditions do not allow for your normal job responsibilities. Additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
ABILITIES AND SKILLS:

Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Attend and understand daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The WTI Field Resources Supervisor (Supervisor) is responsible for the timely delivery of services, profitability, and all employee management and training within their respective region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate with the Field Resource Foreman (Foreman) for staffing and scheduling of all WTI Field Resources Reps (Field Reps) in their respective region to ensure proper utilization of manpower on specific jobs for the highest profitability.
Collaborate with other Supervisors as necessary.
Oversee the Quality Control (QC) process in conjunction with the Quality Control Specialist (QCS) of all the Field Reps in the region, which will include random site visits to current and previous job sites and proper documentation to ensure that all work was completed properly and that the customer is fully satisfied.

Conduct and foster professional and timely communication (via email, text message, voicemail, or in person) with the customers, Sales Reps, field staff, and internal company personnel on all work-related matters.
Be the primary contact for the office personnel if there are any issues concerning a Field Rep.
Ensure all Field Reps will have a professional appearance and demeanor while completing services for a customer.
Conduct and/or assist with the training (both hands-on field training and classroom setting) for the Field Reps, according to the WTI Training Policy, to include: Proper completion of all services and related paperwork. Safety training and training documentation for all Field Reps within the region. Approval and certification of each Field Rep, including, but not limited to, OSHA Hazard Awareness, Toolbox Talks, etc.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of all services provided.
Manage, monitor, and document the performance of Field Reps and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work-related issues.

Work with the HR and Recruiting department to hire all new personnel.

Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:
* Ensure safe execution and delivery of all roofing services and operations.
* Provide a variety of technical training sessions in the contractor's office and field applications.
* Provide hands on application training and supervision of roof coatings and installation.
* Perform roof inspections reports with written reports on condition analysis, photo documentation, recommendation and material budget estimates.
* Communicate professionally with our customers, Tremco sales representatives and regional sales managers and corporate staff.
* Complete weekly/monthly reports, sales activities, proposals and purchase orders.
* Travel within the assigned territory, complete expense reports on a timely basis.
* Pre-project field inspections and technical support including but not limited to:
* Peel tests

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED

* 5+ years of roofing sales or technical experience in the commercial market.
* 2+ years of roofing repair, troubleshooting, or field service experience.
* Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems including built-up, modified, single ply, and metal systems.
* Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable Motor Vehicle record.
* Class B CDL driver s license.
* Strong roofing or building science mechanical aptitude.
* Prior experience in a field sales and service leadership role.
* Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and learn internal business systems).

Do you have building services or facilities experience with an electrical qualification and are looking to elevate your experience further?
My well-established private healthcare client is seeking an electrical bias facilities engineer to join their onsite team in Solihull.
As part of an experienced team, your role will be to complete reactive maintenance around the site, which can be electrical, mechanical, plumbing, building fabric repairs etc, working to high standards whilst being mindful of where you are working.
This role is commutable from Birmingham South, Coventry, Solihull and surrounding areas.
Other job titles might include: Facilities Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrical Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance Assistant, Site Engineer or similar.
The Role - Facilities Maintenance Engineer
- Perform PPM checks - weekly and monthly of the site facilities/plant
- Ensure all tasks adhere to the highest Health & Safety standards.
- Maintain accurate weekly records of plant and services.
- Emergency light repairs
- Weekly testing of specialist equipment
- Uphold the fabric and plumbing systems of the buildings.
- Collaborate with operations teams to minimise disruption to daily facility operations.
- Conduct routine checks on various building systems, including electrical, mechanical plant, HVAC, boilers, and water treatment plants.
- Work independently, effectively prioritising tasks as new assignments arise.
The Candidate - Facilities Maintenance Engineer
- Holds a valid Electrical Qualification such as City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or HNC/HND equivalent
- Holds practical electrical or mechanical diagnostic repair experience of building services/machines and/or equipment
- Commutable within 40 minutes of Solihull with a full driving licence and vehicle
- Happy to work within a healthcare environment daily
- Keen to develop own skills through various specialist training courses
- Flexible to work as part of the on-call rota 1 week in 5
- Happy to work 1 Sunday in 4 for Generator Testing
- Be a great communicator with a strong work ethic
- Able to work as part of a team and also independently to ensure tasks are completed
