Identify and mitigate risks related to payroll deployments, escalating issues when necessary.
Develop and maintain payroll metrics and analytics to provide insights on performance, costs, and trends.
Authorise payroll-related payments and balance sheet funding movements as per approval matrices.
Operate in line with service governance requirements, ensuring adequate documentation for continuous payroll delivery.

Children's Home Registered Manager
Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Children's Home Registered Manager in Bedfordshire.
The Children's Home Registered Manager will be responsible for the operational management and leadership of a residential home, setting the values, principles and ethos of the home.
Pay rate - £26 PAYE / £34 Umbrella
Main Responsibilities
As a Children's Home Registered Manager you will be responsible for:
Personal maintenance of professional qualifications and evidence of ongoing management training and development
Knowledge and understanding of the CQC regulations, OFSTED (Scotland-Care Inspectorate) requirements
Satisfactory fit person interview with Ofsted (or Scotland-Care Inspectorate)
Flexible approach to working hours and to cover on call arrangements if necessary and participate in the on-call manager rota
Use Microsoft office packages and management information systems
Creating an inclusive service, in terms of meeting the needs of the children and establishing a workforce that further enables an inclusive environment
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year experience in the last 5 years in a relevant setting to the residential care of children (children and/or disabilities, preferably both)
Full UK Driving Licence
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (and Scotland SVQ Level 4 Management & Leadership); or for England, or an equivalent Level 5 Diploma as defined by the DFE Guide to Children's Homes Regulations,
Minimum of 2 years experience in a management position including management and supervision of staff

My client is a local county council who have exciting expansion plans to open children's homes in the county.
I am recruiting for an Assistant Manager to work in a local authority run children's home, 4 bed for young people with EBD based in Epsom.
You will support the Registered Manager in the day to day running, ensure the home is compliant with Ofsted, safeguarding and quality standards, supervising and managing the staff, appraisals risk assessments and care plans.
Requirements
QCF Level 3 Leadership in Residential childcare or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of children's social care legislation, Ofsted, safeguarding
Commitment to complete the Level 5 Leadership and Management (if not already completed)
Strong knowledge of Ofsted, children's home regulations, safeguarding
Proven managerial experience in a children's homes
