PDI Technician job role:
- Ensure checks are carried out according to manufacturers procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.
- Complete and record all the necessary checks and road tests in line with the requirements for each vehicle
- Ensure that all vehicle defects are reported to the director
- Liaise with the local garage partner for any complicated repairs
- Source and help with the aftersales (parts and service) as and when.

Operations

With support from your Boatyard Supervisor, you will take a ‘hands-on' approach to oversee activities ensuring your team carry out their duties in accordance with the Company Health and Safety Policy and that any plant machinery is operated correctly within the policy and training guidelines.
You'll ensure the boatyard team follows our quality management system.
That our Safety-First Document, Boatyard Operations - Standard Operating Procedures, Marina Regulations and all other Company procedures and policies are always adhered to.
The company operates specialist and often bespoke pieces of equipment which are essential to the operation of the business.
Alongside your team, you will take responsibility for the equipment and machinery within the Boatyard ensuring appropriate checks and inspections are carried out and liaise with 3rd party contractors on any preventative or reactive maintenance needs.
Commercial
With support from the site Administrator and Central Services finance team, you'll ‘own' the budget and financial performance of your Boatyard.
You'll drive commercial performance through lift/launch and storage activities, boatyard zoning to maximise potential income, have a great working relationship with the tenant base onsite and accurate billing and account management.
Demonstrate a commercial approach.
Identify and develop new revenue generating opportunities and present these to your Regional Operations Manager.
As Boatyard Manager you will take responsibility and play your part in delivering the site P&L.
You'll manage your cost lines appropriately and work with the Regional Operations Manager to identify opportunities.
Customer
We believe the customer should be at the centre of everything we do.
You'll take responsibility for ensuring your team deliver an outstanding customer experience.
You'll know the site NPS, take onboard customer feedback and act, drive feedback volume and customer engagement.
Demonstrate how you have achieved a positive ongoing relationship with berth-holders.
The successful Boatyard Manager will have worked in a similar role with boat handling / lifting experience a key criteria.

Key Responsibilities:
Send out billing forms in a timely manner and collect cash to lower company days sales outstanding (DSO). Sends billing forms out by deadline for customers/GCs. Maintain accurate and organized account records, including customer correspondence and payment history. Make first calls and follow-up calls for particular Districts/Regions and TM's. Participates in team/department meetings, providing insights, and sharing best practices. Updates forecast regarding pre-bills monthly. Executes waivers, sworn statements, affidavits, etc.

The ideal candidate will be able to create invoices using a bespoke invoicing system, carry out checks using Excel and other client booking platform reports, and cross-check service provider data against in-house information to ensure that all data has been captured.
Duties of the Invoicing Administrator will include but are not limited to:
- Invoicing using the bespoke invoicing system within set SLAs
- Invoicing utilising Excel to create the backing data and reporting within set SLAs
- Invoice checks utilising multiple booking platforms and service provider data
- Uploading Invoices to Sage Line 200 accurately
- Effectively investigating invoice query cases and providing detailed responses

The role of Valve Technician:
To service and maintain a range of safety valves
- Perform routine Maintenance
- To work safely, effectively, and efficiently at all times considering all persons, plant, property and the environment.
- To carry out safety valve/level gauge services to include but not exclusively, refurbishment, calibration, repair, overhaul, servicing and finishing at customer's sites and in the workshop.
- To provide an online safety valve testing service (Tru-Test®) to customers

- Work/communicate with all other members of the team to ensure that knowledge vital to the smooth operation of the department is transferred effectively.

Key Skills / Experience Required:
- Experience in Mechanical assembly or the use of hand tools
