Tremco Construction Products Group brings together Tremco CPG Inc.'s Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing and Roofing & Building Maintenance divisions; Tremco Barrier Solutions Inc.; Dryvit, Nudura and Willseal brands; Prebuck LLC; Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc.; Weatherproofing Technologies Canada and PureAir Control Services, Inc.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Production Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely.
There are three Production Operator levels (I, II, & III).
The level will be determined by experience, ability to assume various roles on the plant floor, and demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and problem-solve machine issues resulting in efficient cycles and minimal downtime.
The Production Operator will operate production equipment, including industrial blenders, in accordance with the established production schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform work in a safe manner by following all written and verbally communicated safety rules and procedures. Follow standard work procedures to operate and maintain assigned machine(s). Routinely meet or exceed production output rates per standards. Ensure product meets certain tolerances and specifications. Perform routine inspections per quality standards. Understand production instructions. Maintain accurate paperwork. Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify problems or defects prior to production to ensure a clean, clear and safe work environment. Reads and follows work orders and formulas to meet production specifications and schedules. Examines materials, ingredients, or product per quality standards. Weighs or measures materials, ingredients, and products per requirements. Adds and mixes raw materials according to specifications. Transfers materials, supplies, and products between work areas. Discharges blenders of powder when necessary. Ensures quality and conformity of blended products to meet standards. Ensures equipment is set-up, cleaned, sanitized, and operating properly before, after and between runs. Completes cleaning logs and notifies quality control for hygiene testing. Records operational and production data on specified forms/production documents. Reports malfunctions to a supervisor and confirms proactive and routine maintenance. Conducts on-going assessment of quality control and operational procedures.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: No formal educational required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: No prior experience or training.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Production Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and operational activities in support of manufacturing, The PMT helps maintain an inventory of manufacturing equipment, hand tools, molds, fixtures, and gauges, including spare parts.

Install, set up, evaluate and make recommendations regarding new/existing equipment.
Make modifications to equipment to optimize performance.
Coordinate fabrication of fixtures and shop aids.
Ensure that manufacturing systems meet health, safety, and environmental management requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

The Production Maintenance Technician II is required to have a minimum of 5 years of previous experience and working knowledge and competent demonstration of the following:

Solid understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems, general maintenance processes and methods, power tools, welders and machine shop equipment.
Solid problem-solving skills including equipment breakdown, performing repairs and installation.
Previous welding experience preferred.
This level requires the following certifications:
LOTO certified, Forklift certified, Fall protection certification
The Production Maintenance Technician II performs broader range of duties, proven skillset to fully perform PMT responsibilities, more technically complex tasks, expected to set an example of professional efficiency, and provide technical direction to less experienced staff.
The Production Maintenance Technician II receives minimal instruction or assistance and is fully aware of the operating procedures and policies associated with the department.
Senior Production Maintenance Technician
The Senior Production Maintenance Technician series and is required to have a minimum of 7 years of previous experience and working knowledge and competent demonstration of the following:
Advanced understanding of pneumatic /electrical drills, grinders, routers, and motors.
Advanced understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems, general maintenance processes and methods, power tools, welders and machine shop equipment.
Provides complex problem-solving skills including equipment breakdown, performing repairs and installation.
Provides advanced electrical and instrumentation knowledge and troubleshooting.
Able to bring team together to solve complex projects.
Work with outside vendors in a professional manner.
Ability to train and mentor PMT I and II's.
Proven welding experience in a manufacturing setting.
This level requires the following certifications:
Certified Welder (CW) certification preferred.
Senior Production Maintenance Technician performs broader skilled work and specializes in one trade or craft but performs work in a variety of disciplines.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Legend Brands, an industry leader and long-standing, stable company, combines over 185 years of experience in providing equipment, accessories and chemicals for
professional cleaning, facility maintenance, portable environmental control, fire remediation and water damage restoration.
Supervision Responsibility:
None
Essential Duties
Perform repairs on the full line of Dri-Eaz equipment.
Predominantly air movers and dehumidifiers.
Ensure that turnaround time on repairs meet requirements.
Document condition of items received for repair.
Troubleshoot equipment received for repair.
Provide repair quotes for non-warranty repairs.
Obtain customer approval for non-warranty repairs and/or disposition of product should the repair declined.
Repair & package warranty and non-warranty equipment.
Processing replacement orders for repaired equipment being sent back to customers.
Deliver repaired equipment to shipping department.
Process spare parts orders and service inventory counts.
Package repairs for return shipment.
Inspect, repackage, and credit items returned for credit.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Service Technician I
Service Technician I is the entry-level classification in the Service Technician series and is intended for individuals with a minimum of six months of mechanical and customer service experience.
As experience and proficiency are gained, assignments will become more varied and difficult; supervision becomes more general rather than direct.
This level requires knowledge and competent demonstration of the following within six months of hire:
Demonstrates knowledge of diagnostics procedures, troubleshooting and use of tools required for position.
Performs repairs with minimal supervision.
This level required the following certifications be initiated within six months of hire:
None
The Service Technician I receives close instruction or assistance and is fully aware of the operating procedures and policies associated with the department.

Service Technician II
This is the next level of the Service Technician series and is required to have a minimum of two
to five years of previous experience and working knowledge and competent demonstration of
the following:
Ability to troubleshoot Legend Brands restoration equipment via phone, live chat and email
Communicates with customers relating to repairs performed
Able to read and interpret schematics and drawings
Processes repair orders from start to finish through ERP system.This level requires the following certifications:
EPA 608 certification
Service Technician II perform broader range of duties, proven skillset to fully perform Service Technician responsibilities, more technically complex tasks, expected to set an example of professional efficiency, and provide technical direction to less experienced staff.
The Service Technician II receives minimal instruction or assistance and is fully aware of the operating procedures and policies associated with the department.

Hiring Range
Level I: $22.00 - $25.25 per hour
Level II: $25.00 - $28.25 per hour
