The Quality Technician conducts testing on incoming and outgoing materials to ensure conformance to all quality requirements both internal and external.
In addition, this role maintains the lab in a safe and organized manner to comply with all corporate or governmental policies for safety, environmental, and quality and assists with plantwide ISO 9001 compliance in whatever capacity required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual batch testing activities per product and procedural requirements. Perform periodic calibrations of lab and plant equipment. Participate in the development of quality specifications for raw materials, finished products or substitute materials. Support ISO Quality systems by understanding quality expectations, work instructions, and completing proper quality documentation. Perform periodic quality audits of production processes and finished goods. Communicate with other departments about the status of quality material. Perform first piece inspections on finished products.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
EXPERIENCE:
One to two years related experience and/or training Minimum one year of related experience working in Extruded Rubber Products (ERP) or similar industry.

The Financial Planning and Corporate Development Manager has dual responsibility for these shared functions working closely with the Tremco CPG (TCPG) Corporate Development team and regularly interfacing with RPM International Inc.

This senior-level role is responsible for the identification, evaluation and execution of acquisition, joint venture, partnership and divestiture opportunities as well as providing accurate and effective financial planning and analysis on assigned initiatives including the development, execution and management of the Company's forecasting process.
The Financial Planning and Corporate Development Manager will oversee projects, leverage established tools and processes (established and maintained by TCPG & RPM) to identify acquisition opportunities that meet RPM's current financial and strategic criteria, execute on acquisitions and divestitures, and drive organizational integration and change.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure work is aligned with divisional practical vision and value proposition.
Set priorities and ensure tasks are executed on time, and that work meets appropriate standards and is aligned with divisional practical vision and value proposition.
Conduct comprehensive market or technology studies and evaluations to demonstrate a viable connection to strategy and define a path to execution or recommendation not to proceed.
Evaluation may include voice-of-customer, lab evaluations, hands-on or other types of research.
Assist TCPG leadership and the Corporate Development team with all major workstreams including: Quarterly review and analysis of each operating segment for discussion with segment leadership and identified members of the corporate C-Suite. Monthly review of restructuring project status. Monthly review of growth plans for each operating segment. Annual forecasting with review of segment objectives. Peer performance assessment Work with TCPG leadership and the Corporate Development team with successful execution of acquisitions and divestitures. The intern will work under the mentorship of Logistics Manager.
Responsibilities
Data validation between TMS (Mercury Gate), ERP (SAP S4/Hana), WMS (Manhattan), and Freight Audit and Pay (Cass).
We will be migrating our system into SAP's new ERP, and we will need help testing and making sure that data is accurate, and that the system is functioning as intended.
Goals will be to resolve errors as they are discovered, and milestones will be successful test completions between different logistics functions and SAP modules.
Retouch product and application photography to meet brand standards
The intern will need to identify errors between system communication and test functionality.
The intern will need to document all errors found and quantify the potential cost avoidance by catching the error before we go live in production.

College classification: Junior or Senior or master's Students
Excel, data analytics, logistics knowledge is important.
A sharp eye for detail and an understanding.

Report incidents, near misses, and any non-conformances through the appropriate channels.
Exemplify the expected values of organization including following policies and standard work procedures.
Give input on and coordinate maintenance supply purchases.
Perform Preventative Maintenance Program to ensure completion and accuracy.
Other projects and tasks as assigned.
Cross-train on other production functions to aid as business need dictates.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
One-year certificate from college, technical school or manufacturing training program.
One additional year of experience plus high school diploma/GED in lieu of higher education is acceptable.
Two additional years of experience in lieu of formal education is acceptable.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Maintenance Technician II: 1+ year of experience
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Capable of installing, programming, and troubleshooting PLC; AC/DC drive motors preferred
Ability to troubleshoot electric, air systems, and hydraulic systems
Knowledge of lockout/tagout, arc flash requirements, confined space entry and hot work permit
Ability to work overtime as needed; ability to meet deadlines
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond urgently to down equipment
Effective team player, self-motivated, quick learner
Good communication skills with the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, taste, smell, and lift up to 50 lbs.
