Position: Business Development Manager

The Job: The Business Development Manager will be part of a wider sales team, which as a group will be responsible for both proactive new business development as well as account management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with the wider sales team, develop and manage an up-to-date understanding of the integrated security environment over the agreed plan period, using the information to consider the implications for existing and new sectors and to develop an understanding of relevant sectors and how they are likely to respond.
Undertake key research to understand the business's portfolio of sectors, customers, and potential opportunities.
Build on an already established network of contacts across Evolution's sectors to bring opportunities into the business that can be converted to tenders/sales.
Be able to both take the lead on client relationships, but equally introduce to regional teams and ensure a robust client relationship, management, strategy and delivery.
Engage with sectors and customers to anticipate potential business opportunities and implement actions that will position Evolution with differentiated advantage.
Proven in new business wins, ideally within the IP/Analytics, integrated security sector with a focus on a holistic system selling approach across all aspects of integrated security.
A proven track record in new business development and account retention within the large corporate business sectors.
Consultative and collaborative approach with emphasis on new business opportunities.
Must have a proven understanding of security system design to quote fully integrated systems.
Create new and foster existing relationships with integrated security suppliers and manufacturers.
Prepare programmes of external communication, customer engagement and brand promotion
Organise / participate in key networking events to raise the Company's profile.

The Job: The Community Centre Manager is responsible for the overall management of the daily operations of a Community Centre in the Fingal area, including reporting to the Board/Representatives of the Board, management and engagement of clients and activities, and general management including staff management.

Provide a welcoming and warm environment for all customers and visitors to the Centre.
Respond to initial enquiries including showing potential hirers for the Centre around, answer the telephone, replying to e-mails, using online tools etc.
Ensure all processes/procedures are implemented.
Produce monthly reports, letters and other documentation as directed.
Ensure effective maintenance of the building - including maintenance programmes, ensuring the supervision of contractors and others regarding work in the building in line with the safe system of work.
Financial management to include - developing/manage the Centre's budgets to ensure income and expenditure are in line with targets, financial systems are adhered to, and financial information is prepared for the annual audit.
To apply for relevant grants and funding for the Centre's to ensure financial sustainability of the Centre(s) and expand on the current range of services etc.
Staffing - recruitment/Selection of Staff and daily management, motivation and development of staff, carrying out performance reviews etc.
Ensure salaries/hours worked are summited accurately and on time to payroll.
Ensure all Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines are met and maintained and that approved safe system of work (including Permit to Works) are adhered to.
Coffee Shop Management - work with the Coffee Shop Manager and have an oversight over the general day to day operation and financial management of the coffee shop whilst continuing to develop the business within the coffee shop as a social enterprise.
Maintain confidentiality on all matters relating to the Centre's users and general Centre's business.
Overseeing invoicing of all Clients in a timely manner and payment of same to ensure healthy cash flow and avoidance of bad debts.
Maintain appropriate filing systems and records.
Liaise with Key holding company and participate on keyholding out of hours contact list.
Manage and maintain an up-to-date pre planned maintenance schedule
Manage budgets in conjunction with the Board of Directors.
To have excellent problem-solving abilities and have the ability to resolve challenging situations in a calm, effective and timely manner.
Liaise with Pobal contact, ensuring all requirements/policies etc in are in place and adhered to (where applicable)
Liaise with the CE Supervisor in relation to CE participants.
Liaise with TUS Supervisor in relation to TUS participants.

Key Responsibilities:
Become part of an expert team in construction products, to a diverse range of customers in the UK and US
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role entails researching the target market, identifying business development opportunities, planning the sales strategy, coaching the existing sales team, keeping a keen eye on margins while driving upselling within the sales team, managing key customer accounts and winning against competitors
The Sales Manager will work closely with the internal sales teams as well as marketing and purchasing teams to identify potential sales, and growth opportunities within our existing customer accounts with a clear focus on driving B2B sales.
Experience in in B2B selling at management level.
Excel at finding and closing opportunities in a short to medium sales cycle
Key Requirements:
A proven track record in up-selling and cross-selling to an established account base.
Highly motivated and goal oriented, resilient, will take a proactive and strong lead
Data driven and tech savy
Successful sales management roles in the past with quantifiable achievements
Experienced at creating, generating, and closing new business.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience using a CRM reporting system

Annual Pay review & Annual Bonus based on performance and effort throughout the year.
