My client, a large commercial vehicle manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to join their team.
Parts Manager duties include:
- Ensuring that stock control is carried out at depot level in line with company policies and procedures.
- Motivation of Parts Staff to ensure every opportunity is maximised to sell parts and attachments
- Implementation of positive change to ensure that parts growth, both through service and direct to customers, is in line with business expectations.
- Mentoring challenging and development of staff through training and performing annual appraisals
- Compiling reports on depot performance to highlight areas of potential growth, generate leads for new products and product lines on campaign, monitor stock levels and minimise stocking costs.
- Development of systems to promote structured growth aligned with customer satisfaction
- Developing, promoting and maintaining strong interdepartmental relationships to allow holistic provision of products and services to customers
- Liaising with marketing department for the development of profitable and attractive promotional campaigns
- Monitoring the strategies of competitors
- Develop and maintain pricing strategies for key product lines and key accounts customers
- Monitor logistical challenges and identify new solutions to maintain and improve profitability of parts deliveries.
Parts Manager Skills & Experience
- Previous experience with the commercial vehicle sector is essential.
- Understanding of parts sales and retail operations
- Customer focus and good interpersonal skills

My client is now seeking a Project Manager to join their Central London office to work on a range of projects for owners and investors.
Projects will include offices, residential, hotels and mixed use buildings.
You will be responsible for the entire project from feasibility stage through to completion of project.
You will work across the whole development cycle with involvement on the delivery phase from pre-construction, contract management and through occupation.

THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Project Manager with experience of the following:-
Feasibility and viability assessments
Contribute to architectural and technical design
Manage the professional consultants through the planning and construction phases
Drive the project programme and critical path throughout the development cycle to practical completion
Be able to identify new business and investment opportunities
Be able to understand and manage the client's expectations with regards to Employers Requirements and Project Brief
Manage the tender process working alongside the Quantity Surveyor
Review and contribute to the building design from concept throught to construction documentation stages
Help with the negtiation and procurement of the Main and Sub-Contractors
Manage the design team to keep momentum on design requirements and to meet the project and programme milestones
Manage the obtainment of statutory approvals and ensure these are followed through
Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor to produce the initial cost plan and budget
Review and approve monthly drawdowns and valuations on projects to ensure that budgets are met.
You will have a Degree in a construction or property subject e.g.
Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Construction Project Management or similar.
Experience of working and construction professional within the real estate sector essential.
Salary is negotiable from around £65000 to £75000 depending on experience per annum plus pension, professional fees, bonus etc.

The Role - HSE Officer:
- Ensure all site-based activities and installations are progressed in line with company procedures, and employers' standards.
- Monitor that contractors are working to approve RAMS, safety documents and H&S plans
- Ensure appropriate PPE is worn at all times
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed
- Facilitate site inductions for contract staff and visitors
- Complete daily log of incidents, issues and progress.
