Installation of different types of roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems Safe operation of tools of the trade (hand tools, power tools etc.) Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrates safe work practices. Work outside in a wide variety of weather conditions and to meet the physical demands of the position, including mobility needed to complete tasks. We are seeking a Senior or Principal Manufacturing Engineer with experience in designing production and manufacturing systems within the Medical Devices, Biotechnology or Sciences industries.
Ideally, you will have a degree in Manufacturing, mechanical or process engineering, while having Manufacturing or Process Engineering experience designing in 3D CAD while also having a background in maintaining production machinery.
You will support design teams across multiple functions, with a particular focus on Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
The role involves building prototypes and testing new rigs to ensure medical devices function correctly and can be manufactured efficiently.
Supply Chain experience would be highly advantageous.
Given the size of the group, we need someone willing to engage in designing, building, and testing systems, as well as maintaining production machinery.
As the group expands, this role will evolve, providing excellent opportunities for career advancement.
You will be expected to take leadership of various projects as they arise, whilst also collaborating effectively within teams depends on project requirements.
Due to working alongside other Medical Devices divisions, it is expected that you would have knowledge of ISO 13485, QMS and GMP.

Electronics Support Engineer
Farnborough, Hampshire
£40,000 £45,000 per annum
A new opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Support Engineer to join a growing electronics manufacturing team in Farnborough.
This role is ideal for someone with strong practical electronics experience who enjoys a mix of hands-on problem solving, technical support, and working closely with customers and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support quotation activities by reviewing RFQs and drawings, preparing costed quotations and bills of materials for electronic and cable assemblies, and identifying suitable alternative components for obsolete or long-lead parts (including ERP data entry).
- Provide day-to-day technical support to resolve documentation and manufacturing issues within the Electronics Workshop and across the wider business.
- Assist with testing, fault-finding and inspection of assemblies to meet customer requirements, drawings and specifications (typically to IPC-610/620 Class 2 or 3).
- Monitor departmental workload, flag resourcing issues in advance and support efficient planning of tasks.
- Promote good health and safety practice, highlight risks and provide guidance to workshop staff.
- Help maintain high standards of housekeeping, equipment operability and test equipment calibration across the Electronics Workshop.
What Youll Need
- Solid background in electronics support, manufacturing or test, with experience of assemblies, cable looms or build-to-print environments.
- Confident reading drawings and documentation, and comfortable with fault-finding and inspection to recognised industry standards.
Experience with CAD advantageous
- Experience working with Electronics Manufacturing processes such as PCB Assembly, Testing, Design and Build.
- Strong problem-solving skills, good attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach.
- Able to work proactively, plan workload and look for ways to improve efficiency and quality.
