The Commercial Façade Field Technician actively performs and enforces Company safety policy and program to minimize accidents affecting employees, the public, and property.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Attend and understand daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project.

Execution of project tasks with knowledge of expected production rates, ensuring tools and materials are used safely and efficiently to complete the assigned project. Complete the project per the scope or work, design and specification of contract & engineering documents as directed by foreman.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Construction Manager is responsible for managing all projects (including GC and larger-scale P&R, TremCares, etc.).
This will involve working with the superintendent or technicians assigned to the project to ensure delivery is on time and within budget, as well as selecting and managing all subcontractors.
Additional duties will include participating in all proposals, specifications, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts as they affect the aforementioned projects.
The Construction Manager is responsible for sales and service support, field resources, and customer management communication as necessary.

Receives and reviews bids and agreements
Pre-construction Stage:
Provides established Project Schedule
Assists Superintendent in planning and coordinating the Pre-Construction Meeting

The Design Engineer assesses project requirements, gathers technical field data, determines design requirements, selects appropriate equipment, and provides drafting of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) restoration projects.
This role combines engineering expertise with drafting skills to ensure that projects are planned and constructed effectively.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conducts on-site visits and assessments to understand the specific scope and technical requirements of individual projects.
This includes evaluating existing HVAC systems, identifying issues or challenges, and testing equipment performance.
• Determines scope and designs solutions for HVAC restoration projects via site visits and coordination with owner/facility staff.
• Understands components and functions of existing mechanical systems being altered or renovated.
• Exercises control over design and production tasks to enable HVAC restoration projects.
• Drafts construction documents and generates specifications for HVAC restoration projects.
• Utilizes in-house estimating tools to create project budgets.
• Assists the sales team with scope reviews and support as needed.
• Creates, maintains, and improves drafting tools and templates.
• Determines the estimated cost of HVAC projects.
This includes calculating costs for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and any other expenses associated with the project.
• Ensures a smooth transition from design to project execution, providing technical guidance and insights during and after construction.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Engineer Intern (EI) Certification
• Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of industry-specific experience.
• Experience with construction drafting in AutoCAD.
• EI certification with the ability to obtain a PE license preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite knowledge preferred.
• Experience with a programming language (VBA, C#, etc.) preferred.

A great opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team working on advanced flight simulator hardware.
Youll be contributing to the design and development of high-fidelity training systems used by pilot training organisations worldwide.
In this role, youll be involved in developing mechanical and electromechanical systems, producing detailed models and drawings, supporting testing and validation, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, safety-critical hardware.
This is a fast-paced environment where ownership, agility, and collaboration are key.
What youll be doing
- Designing mechanical and electromechanical hardware for next-generation flight simulators
- Producing detailed 3D models, drawings, and specifications using industry-standard CAD tools
- Working with systems, software, and project teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and supporting testing/validation
- Contributing to continuous improvement and evaluating new tools and technologies
- Supporting supplier management and component integration
- Providing technical leadership or mentoring depending on seniority
What were looking for
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
- Experience in mechanical/electromechanical hardware development
- Strong CAD skills (experience with Creo/Pro-E or CATIA V5 is a big plus)
- Experience with structural analysis/FEA tools (NASTRAN, Ansys, Abaqus welcomed)
- Familiarity with PLM systems (Windchill, Teamcenter)
- Understanding of aerospace mechanical/electrical standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience with testing/validation
- Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience in flight simulation, aerospace, automotive, wind energy, or similar industries is an advantage

Coordinate 3rd party testing certification/approvals.

High level of understanding of testing methods/techniques for Laboratory/Field Testing.
Present a comprehensive understanding of testing methods to confirm varying compatibility among materials.
Develop and review of product literature, application instruction, and the maintenance and updating of field training manuals.
Comprehensive understanding of applicable Building Code requirements related to EIFS and other types of façade systems.
Write, review, and make recommendations for letters of installation and job parameters along with detailed drawings to help make the sale.
Formally respond to inquiries in written form based on sound engineering judgement.
Provide technical training to internal and external customers focused on façade systems, code requirements, test methods, and application of relevant Tremco systems.
Effectively collaborate with internal and designated external customers.
Assure product performance through reviewing and making recommendations for proper use and field application.
Master assigned core product line technology to include writing policy.
Actively able to train/mentor new employees.
Demonstrate a high level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate a high level of understanding of building science principles.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in science, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar field required; High School Diploma or GED and 15+ years related experience required, in lieu of college degree.
EXPERIENCE:
7+ years of Civil Engineering, Architectural, Building Envelope, Building Science, Construction Consulting, Construction industry or similar experience.
Strong consideration will be given to candidates with experience in the field (job-site-related experience).
Expertise with Canadian codes related to EIFS, system fire performance, air/water resistive barrier systems.
Strong background in understanding building science principles and performing related wall assembly analyses for a diversity of wall systems.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
OHSA 10 Preferred but not required
Engineer-in-Training Certification Preferred but not required
