In this role, you will be responsible for designing and creating façade systems for various projects.
Your expertise in facade engineering and design will contribute to the successful execution of our projects and ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to design innovative and efficient façade systems for commercial and residential projects
Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for façade systems, incorporating architectural intent and project requirements
Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and ensure the feasibility of proposed designs
Perform structural calculations and analysis to ensure the integrity and safety of façade systems
Select appropriate materials and finishes for façade components, considering aesthetic, performance, and sustainability requirements
Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to obtain pricing and technical information for façade systems
Review shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with design intent and project requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in façade design, with a focus on commercial and/or residential projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software
Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations related to façade design
Experience with structural calculations and analysis software is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Portfolio showcasing previous façade design projects is required

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The BIM Specialist is responsible for transforming conceptual layouts to fully installable models that fully integrate into wall system/panel projects and designs by creating structures, objects, and families.
By leveraging a variety of three-dimensional computer assisted design modeling software, the BIM Specialist will support senior modelers and project teams and promote the best tools and system framework for each project with required configurations and deployments.
May lead discipline specific BIM modeling content for design projects.

Prepare final drawings based on prior work examples and input from designers and/or engineers. Establish, implement, and maintain quality control procedures. Document BIM standards, processes, procedures, and workflows to ensure consistency and quality across projects. Identify and resolve clashes, conflicts, and discrepancies within BIM models to ensure smooth coordination between various disciplines. Collaborate across functions to ensure accurate and timely designs in accordance with established budgets and estimates. Prioritize all work in accordance with project deadlines. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring accuracy, timely completion, and adherence to project milestones and deadlines. Convert CAD drawings into Alpha CAM files suitable for CNC machines, ensuring seamless translation of design specifications into the manufacturing processes and instructions. Review and understand shop drawings and engineering calculations to ensure compliance with specifications and design criteria. Collaborate with sales, operations, and others to answer questions, address uncertainties and earn complete customer satisfaction.
EDUCATION:

Has knowledge/understanding and performs work in compliance with all governmental rules and regulations affecting work sites and employees, i.e.
OSHA, DOT, EEO/Affirmative Action, EPA, etc. Provides management with earliest possible notification of real and potential job problems. Accepts responsibility for the care, custody, and use of company equipment, material, tools, and other assets as assigned by the WTI Commercial Foreman. Understands and executes proper material and equipment usage, maintenance, and storage. Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the WTI Foreman and/or Commercial Business Manager. Maintains ethical business conduct.

Calculate cable sizing using appropriate software and produce distribution board schedules.
Prepare general arrangement (GA) layouts of services and photovoltaic panel designs.
Write detailed electrical specifications.
Cad / Revit Proficiency:
Understand company standards and layouts.
Utilize AutoCAD and Revit drawing protocols to produce basic layout drawings from sketches.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an M&E consulting environment.
HNC or degree qualified (recent graduates will also be considered).
Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
Familiar with using Amtech software to support electrical design.
