The Role of the Clinical Nurse Advisor
Our client sells a range of advanced wound care dressings, absorbents, skin protectants, peak flow meters, gloves, & surgical tapes.
Supporting the territory managers within the territory.
The Clinical Nurse Advisor will provide best in class clinical training in order for our NHS partners to best treat their patients.
The CNAs are tasked with supporting the Sales function with account growth through education, training and account development.
Liaising with TVNs, Procurement, Nursing Homes, Lymphedema Specialists, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, District Nurses and a range of Key Opinion Leaders.
This will include delivering clinical teaching, conducting audits, running evaluations and working closely with customers to identify areas of improvement and presenting the solutions back to the customers to better improve the position of the products.
Presenting and clinical detailing of products.
Providing clinical training across acute and community sectors to support new formulary inclusions and account development.
Assisting customers with the development of educational materials for their local areas.
Providing education presentations to support local study days and conferences.
Identifying and maximising opportunities and working in collaboration with the Business Development Manager and Territory Manager to achieve commercial success.
Assisting with the development of new products and work with the marketing team to uncover opportunities in the market and improve upon current products available.
Responsible for developing / writing clinical support papers and posters, writing up case studies.
Conducting audits and supporting product evaluations with customers.
Covering South Wales but will need to venture out further when required for business needs

The Ideal Person for the Clinical Nurse Advisor
Must have an active pin.
Ideally from a clinical wound care background.
However, will look at good clinical people that can make the transition to a more commercial role.
Experience in either hospital and community experience (e.g.
as a District Nurse).
Effective time management skills.
Good communication skills.
Strong presentation skills; including the confidence/impact to present to groups of up to 20 people.
Highly ethical, credible and professional.
Adaptable and flexible approach.
Happy to travel and spend nights away when needed.

Network Engineer - Contract
Birmingham (hybrid working, 2 days per week WFH)
Up to £550 p/d - inside IR35
Network Engineer required to join the IT Department of a well-known and public-facing critical national infrastructure business (circa 2000 staff, 20 in IT with approx.
40 sites in the UK), providing services to hundreds-of-thousands.
You'll operate as part of a small, highly capable IT team supporting fairly complex Infrastructure and contributing to large-scale projects.
You'll initially be supporting a variety of projects detailed below, including assisting in resolving a number of security audit findings and closing off security vulnerabilities flagged up by a recent pen-test.
You will also support the general administration and maintenance of network system and act as a 3rd line escalation point for tickets escalated up from the Service Desk.
Currently the role is split circa 50% Project vs 50% BAU support.
Minimum required skills and experience:
- CCNA (or equivalent experience)
- Expert in setting up and maintaining VPNs
- General Firewall / Switch configuration; experience with both Cisco and HP Switches would be beneficial, as would any exposure to CheckPoint firewalls.
- Troubleshooting faulty sites - BT routers / Switch / Firewalls.
- Experience of Security Audit remediations would be beneficial; addressing vulnerabilities flagged by scanners (in this case, Tenable), and Pen tests.
- Production / maintenance of Network Diagrams (Visio)
- Solarwinds administration (or similar monitoring tool).
- Windows Server / VMWare Administration an advantage (not a requirement).
Initial 3 month contract (very likely to extend)
Location; Birmingham or Central London with flexibility to work from home two days per week.
Occasional travel to other UK sites required.
