The Role
As Field Sales Manager - Data Centres / UPS Systems, you will:
Take responsibility for developing and managing key accounts across the UK, targeting major data centre operators and IT channel partners.
You'll play a pivotal role in driving sales, building relationships, and expanding the companies footprint within mission-critical markets.
Identify, develop, and manage key accounts within major data centre clients.
Promote the companies range of solutions including UPS systems, cooling systems, PDUs, and data racks.
Develop relationships with electrical and IT distribution channel partners across the UK and Europe.
Work closely with internal technical and channel support teams to deliver tailored solutions and quotations.
Drive sales and business development across the UK, with a focus on expanding the channel partner network.
Key skills required to apply for this Field Sales Manager - Data Centres / UPS Systems job:
Extensive experience in a field sales, business development, or key account management role within UPS systems, power electronics, or data centre infrastructure.
Proven track record of success developing sales in the data centre, telecoms, or critical power sectors.
Strong technical understanding of UPS systems, backup power, and cooling solutions.
Motivated, driven, and entrepreneurial - this role offers the feel of a start-up within a global brand.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all levels.
Profound knowledge of the UK data centre and critical infrastructure market (healthcare, education, transport, etc.).
Full UK driving licence required.

Job Title: CNC Turning Programmer / Setter / Operator
Location: Ferndown
Hours: 20:30 to 07:00 Monday to Thursday
Salary: £21 - £22ph
A precision engineering manufacturer supplying the aerospace and defence sectors is looking for an experienced CNC Turning Programmer / Setter / Operator to join their team.
Role Summary You will program, set, and operate Mazak CNC turning centres, managing the full process from program creation to final inspection.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Mazak machines using Mazatrol, SmoothX/SmoothG or ISO G-code.
- Develop machining strategies and interpret engineering drawings/GD&T.
- Set up Mazak lathes (Quick Turn, Nexus, Smooth, Integrex).
- Install and measure tools; set work and tool offsets; complete safe prove-outs.
- Run production, adjust offsets, change inserts/tools and ensure accuracy.
- Carry out first-off and in-process inspection using precision measuring tools.
- Record quality data and resolve machining issues (chatter, taper, finish).
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain 5S standards.
Desirable
- Experience with Integrex or live tooling.
- CAM knowledge (Mastercam).
- Lean/5S experience.
- Forklift or crane certification.
- Level 3/4 engineering qualification or apprenticeship.

Since their establishment over 80 years ago, they have become a critical supply chain partner to a number of quality critical industries, including Aerospace, Automotive and Life Sciences.Their Leeds facility currently employs around 60 people and is a centre of excellence for manufacturing within their European group network.
Following some recent investment & growth, this employer is now actively searching for a CNC Operator to join their team on a permanent basis.Key Responsibilities of the CNC Operator will include:
Working as part of an Engineering team, responsible for producing precision machined components
Setting up and operating a variety of different XYZ & Mazak Lathes
Making basic edits & adjustments to programs; adjusting tooling offsets etc.
Using manual measuring instruments (micrometers predominantly) to ensure that components meet customer specifications
Working Hours of the CNC Operator: 37 Per week, with options to work a number of different shifts:
Option 1: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30 / Friday 08:00 to 13:00
Option 2: Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30 / Friday 07:00 to 12:00
Option 3: Monday to Thursday 06:00 to 14:00 / Friday 06:00 to 12:30
Option 4: Monday to Thursday 14:00 to 23:45 (25% shift allowance)
Option 5: Weekly rotation of option 3 & 4 (25% shift allowance on every PM shift)
In return, the CNC Operator will receive:
Annual Salary: Up to £35,684.81 - depending on experience and shift pattern
Monthly Attendance Bonus: £100.00 - Must be on time everyday with no sickness during the month
Annual Leave: 34 Days (26 free choice + public holidays)
Annual Profit Share & Loyalty Bonus - eligible after 2 years' service (£1,500.00 average profit share & £42 per year for every year worked loyalty bonus)
