About the role and school
Teach Plus are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Southall, Ealing, who are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team ASAP.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEN Teacher to lead a new inclusion base supporting pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), including pre-verbal children, alongside pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The inclusion base will initially support a small group of pupils, with additional teaching assistant support as more pupils attend, including opportunities for some pupils to access mainstream learning.
Weekly CPD sessions will provide opportunities to develop your practice and contribute to the ongoing development of this new provision.

Job Responsibilities
Plan, deliver and assess personalised learning activities tailored to pupils with SLD, complex communication needs and SEMH, ensuring provision aligns with individual EHCP outcomes.

Lead and direct a small team of teaching assistants, ensuring effective deployment, consistent support and positive learning experiences for all pupils.
Establish a safe, structured and nurturing inclusion base that promotes positive behaviour, emotional regulation and individual progress.
Collaborate with the school's leadership team, SENCO, teaching assistants, families and external professionals to review pupil needs and maintain effective provision.
Participate in weekly CPD sessions, contributing to the development of inclusive practice and the continuous improvement of the school's new inclusion provision.

About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a male client in his late 30s within his home environment.
This is a 24-hour waking complex care package supporting a client living with a spinal cord injury and Autonomic Dysreflexia.
The successful candidate will provide full support with all activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, moving and handling, medication support, bowel care, catheter care, nutrition and hydration, and mobility assistance.
Carers must be confident working within complex care settings, able to recognise clinical concerns, and remain calm and professional at all times.

Autonomic Dysreflexia awareness and management

Supporting with all personal care and ADLs
.
Nutrition and hydration support
.
Working independently within a client's home
.
Managing challenging behaviors professionally and calmly
