THE COMPANY
My client is a specialist firm of construction consultants who mainly specialise in providing fund monitoring services for a good range of clients.
They have offices covering the UK.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be an experienced Project Monitor with at least three years monitoring experience on large construction projects.
You will be either a Chartered Quantity Surveying or a Chartered Project Manager by training and be MRICS qualified.
You will review the development proposals to ascertain the project viability mainly from a construction point of view providing essential advice on cost procurement, programme and security documentation.
You will work on behalf of the funder / deverloper / investor and work throughout the project lifecycle performing a monitoring role tracking and reviewing risks and project performance, often with a primary liability to certify drawdowns, whilst protecting the funds secured status.
You will be able to monitor the project to ensure it is going to plan, timescale and to budget and be able to identify risks for all parties and consider their mitigation.
You will do due diligence reporting, technical solutions advice and other detailed reporting.
This is a hybrid role as you can mostly work from home and also be available to attend site and client's offices.

Remote Operations Centre roles require candidates to be Aberdeen based or willing to relocate and work rotational 12hr shifts.
You will report directly to the ROC Manager an will work closely with MAI Processing Supervisor, ROC Superintendent, project teams, USV, and vessel crews, project and operational managers across entities.
Your primary role will be responsible for quality-checking and processing survey data and assisting senior colleagues produce reports for internal use and our clients.
The Trainee Data Processor (ROC) will actively support the processing of survey data from a variety of sensors acquired from vessel, USV, ROV or AUV platforms.

Your role and responsibilities:
Assists with survey data pack production;
Undertakes coordination, supervision and processing of survey data and carries out quality control processes to ensure scope compliance;
Ensures suitability of data for charting and reporting;
Complies and generates deliverable products in a timely manner;
Maintains experience with industry software, applications and techniques;
Maintains effective and appropriate communication with client representatives, Project Manager, and other onshore and offshore departments e.g., Data Services, Subject Matter Experts, Innovation, Staff Development Coordinators, Human Resources, IT, and QHSSE.
Develops and maintains clear and concise documentation.
What you'll need to thrive in this role:
Have a B.Sc or M.Sc or equivalent in a various technical degrees such as computer, science, IT, geomatics or engineering

My client, an established firm of PQS now seeks a CHARTERED QUANTITY SURVEYOR / COST MANAGER to join them at ASSOCIATE DESIGNATE level working from their Kent office on projects across the South East.
They are keen to find an ambitious MRICS qualified Quantity Surveyor who is probably at project surveyor and who is keen to move up to the next level and to continue up to the role of Associate within around one year.
