GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Plant Accountant Provides comprehensive financial, cost accounting, and analytical support for the Tremco CPG Mfg.
Corp, Corsicana, TX chemical manufacturing plant.
Partners with the Plant Controller and plant leadership to deliver accurate financial reporting, support operational decision-making, ensure compliance with policies, and drive cost efficiency.
This position will report to the Plant Controller onsite at the plant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Track and review all manufacturing spending; propose reclassification entries or accruals as necessary and note anomalies for management.
Perform financial and manufacturing analysis including variance analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
Provide COGS forecasting including standard cost, PPV, and manufacturing variances.
Investigate and explain financial variances.
Prepare plant reports including explanations of variances .
Liaise with internal/external auditors for quarterly and annual audits.
Inventory & Cost Accounting
Manage inventory accuracy, reconciliations, and financial impact analysis.
Perform cost runs and validate product costing working closely with Engineering
Analyze production and purchase price variances.
Month-End Close
Prepare journal entries including accruals and reclassifications.
Reconcile accrual and prepaid accounts.
Support audits.
Ensure confidentiality and integrity of financial data and ensure compliance with GAAP, Tremco CPG Policies and SOX internal controls.
Review Trade and Intercompany Revenue and COGS to ensure accuracy and help ensure Intercompany receivables / payables are in balance.
Budgeting & Planning
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
Calculate labor and overhead rates.
Business Partnership
Provide financial insights to plant leadership.
Support operational efficiency and cost improvement projects.
Support Corporate requests for data including Government surveys and Tax requests.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial construction.
Minimum 3 years' experience in Project Management.
Four to seven years of relevant experience.
SAP Experience primarily in GL, Costing, Procurement and Inventory in a manufacturing environment.
High level analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to recognize errors and/or inconsistencies and take action.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
CPA or CMA preferred.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced understanding of Excel.
Work in Plant business office environment with regular visits out into the chemical plant.
Excellent written and verbal communication ski9lls with the ability to speak with all levels.
High degree of flexibility, organizational and time management skills required to effectively handle multiple concurrent projects, a fluctuating workload and rapid changes in priorities.
Ability to work overtime when required for closing activities, budget deadlines or special projects.
Minimal travel is required (< 5%).

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION DUTIES/TASKS:
Satellite Hazardous Waste Accumulation
Production tank/Cleaning/filling
1.
Production Quality Lab Technicians may have to dispose of product samples, line flush, off-spec product, or expired product retain samples.
This waste material is transferred to the hazardous waste satellite accumulation drum.
2.
Production workers clean equipment and tanks pre-rinse, wipe, scrub, and final rinse surfaces using wash solvent, brushes and rags.
Dirty solvent is transferred to the satellite accumulation area.
3.
Transfer used wash solvent to the satellite accumulation drum or tank.
4.
Ensure hazardous waste storage or accumulation containers remain sealed except during the addition or removal of waste.
5.
Ensure Hazardous Waste storage containers are clearly labeled "Hazardous Waste."
6.
Care must be exercised when introducing waste into the satellite accumulation drum.
Do not drop on floor or area.
In the case of any spilled material, spills or drops shall be cleaned up immediately.
7.
When 55 gallons has accumulated, the satellite accumulation container must be moved to a permanent hazardous waste storage area within 3 days and relabeled "Hazardous Waste."

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for shipping finished goods via UPS, common carrier, contract carrier and containers, receiving finished goods from manufacturing plants and vendors, staging shipments and general warehouse duties.
In addition, provide guidance and training to new shippers as needed.
Essential Functions
Receives, identifies, generally inspects and counts finished goods as received by the Company and stages and ships orders.
Maintains orderliness and cleanliness in the warehouse, cleaning any spilled product immediately.
Counts and inventories, by product number, finished goods and stage goods in the proper location in a neat and orderly fashion both for shipping and general storage.
Maintains shipping documents, bills of lading, pick sheets, documents receipts on appropriate forms and returns all pertinent paperwork to the appropriate party.
Ensure warehouses materials are in the proper location and maintain the integrity of both the inventory locations and the proper inventory counts.
Provides training and guidance for new shippers as needed.
Immediatly report all spills and leaks, equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, accidents, near-miss accidents and materials shortages immediately to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Immediately cleans any spills.
Assist in hazardous waste handling when needed under the guidance from production management / supervisors or RCRA certified employees.

The Role of the Maintenance Coordinator:
You will take ownership of the site's facilities, services, and utilities, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable day-to-day operations.
Your responsibilities will include carrying out and coordinating statutory inspections, emergency lighting tests, fire alarm testing, compliance checks, CCTV maintenance, ladder inspections, and other essential site safety activities.
Working closely with the Lead Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence and ensuring the site remains fully compliant and audit ready.
Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Coordinator:
Own and coordinate all site facilities, services, and utilities, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable day-to-day operations in line with the company's standards and all legal and statutory requirements.
Oversee integrity of buildings and utility infrastructure, including electrical systems, HVAC, water, and compressed air, coordinating inspections, maintaining facilities and utilities, and upgrades through competent external contractors.
Manage external service providers and contracts, including cleaning, mobile equipment, and statutory inspections, ensuring service quality, SLA compliance, cost control, and effective issue resolution.
Maintain robust compliance and governance processes, ensuring inspections, certificates, service reports, RAMS, insurance documentation, and close-out records are accurate, traceable, managed within the CMMS, and approved before work begins.
Support site engineering and infrastructure projects by collaborating with engineering teams on utilities planning, improvement projects, and breakdown response while minimising operational disruption.
Essential Criteria of the Maintenance Coordinator:
Minimum HNC (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical discipline.
Proven experience managing site services, utilities, and contractors within a process safety-led manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of statutory compliance.
Demonstrable experience in EHS and contractor management, including Permit to Work (PTW) systems, RAMS review, and contractor insurance and policy compliance, maintaining audit-ready standards.
Excellent organisational, planning, and scheduling skills, with the ability to ensure statutory inspections and routine site services are completed on time.
Strong communication skills, with experience managing service level agreements, coordinating internal stakeholders and external contractors, and monitoring performance.
Competent in Microsoft Office, SAP, and CMMS systems, with a sound mechanical and electrical understanding.
Experience working within an ATEX environment or a good understanding of ATEX regulations.
