Euclid Chemical is currently seeking a Concrete and Construction
Technical Support Specialist to join our team at our Cleveland Campus.
This role provides technical support for Euclid Chemical construction products to distributor, contractor, and residential customers, as well as internal sales and marketing staff and design professionals.
This role supports customers by phone and electronic communication, participates in customer sales training, and assists with the development of new products and technical sales tools.

EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE:
Six months or more of PLC, Mechanical, and/or Electrical troubleshooting experience and/or training.
Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, or Controls Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
Packaging experience or automation equipment preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.

Strategic Sourcing Buyer I is intended for individuals with a minimum of 2-5 years related work experience.

Perform total cost of ownership (TCO) and should-cost analyses
Negotiate pricing, terms, and supply agreements
Identify and onboard new suppliers
Moderate autonomy; resolving and escalating complex issues to senior staff
Strategic Sourcing Buyer II
This is the next level of the Strategic Sourcing Buyer series and is required to have a minimum of 5-10 years of previous experience and working knowledge and competent demonstration of the following:
Lead supplier negotiations and contract management
Influence stakeholders on sourcing decisions and supplier selection
High autonomy with strategic input into sourcing roadmap
Strategic Sourcing Buyer II performs broader range of duties, proven skillset to fully perform Strategic Sourcing Buyer responsibilities, more technically complex tasks, expected to set an example of professional efficiency, and provide technical direction to less experienced staff.

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join the Maintenance team, responsible for delivering day-to-day electrical maintenance, inspection, testing and repairs across the pipeline system.

The Junior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and optimizing the plant.
This position is responsible for influencing the development of preventative maintenance programs at the facility, assisting in work area design, plant layout, visual control, metric implementation, material flow, process tracking, and communication.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of the finished product.
Participate in plant metric reporting.
Coordinate quality control objectives and activities as detailed in the facility site plan to resolve any production problems that may occur, maximize product consistency, and minimize cost.
Design measurement and control systems for chemical plants based on data collected in laboratory experiments and in pilot plant operations.
Use SAP to monitor production/business functions.
Provides engineering support for all operations in the plant.
Recommend modifications to current processes and equipment; document and follow up with engineers responsible for the modifications.
Works with the plant engineers, maintenance, and facilities to influence the direction of preventative maintenance best practices.
Support a high-performance results-oriented culture and maintain high standards of safety and compliance.
Provide technical and operational leadership for equipment and facility maintenance and improvements.
Deliver disciplined project management and product development assistance.
Regular review of batch first pass yield, production quality, distressed, obsolete, scrap, and returned material.
Troubleshoot and implement repeatability best practices.
Support investigations on equipment failures, difficulties, and deficiencies.
Interface with leadership, operators, and maintenance to ensure continuous improvement and continuous production.
Assist in the Collection of site metrics and KPI's Implementation and continued support of PIE.
Perform a job in accordance with all Tremco safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree (B.
S.) in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

The Quality Co-Op will have the opportunity to learn, experience, and contribute to the operations of the polyurethane sealants and coating manufacturing process.
The Co-op will develop an understanding of the relationship between the manufacturing process and various support teams with a focus on safety, product quality testing, and process validation and improvement.
This position will spend a significant amount of time in the lab and on the plant floor.

Sustain lab 5S (QC lab and retain room).
Participate in product quality projects with root cause investigations and effective corrective actions with the goal of preventing customer complaints and reducing internal rework.
Lead small project for quality improvement through test, data collection, and analysis.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
