Required Experience:
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or industrial technology preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor.
Demonstrated leadership in the following areas: preventative maintenance, implementing continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, safety, standard work and employee coaching & development.
Experience with CMMS required.
PSM (Process Safety Management) and or TCPA experience preferred.
Must possess good verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
Experience in ISO 9001:2008 environment preferred.

Education and Experience:

Skills and Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge and understanding of cement manufacturing, cement chemistry, and raw and finish mill circuit operation. Basic understanding of cement additives chemistries. Ability to interpret lab outputs (e.g., XRD, clinker microscopy, isothermal calorimetry, and physical test results) to develop customer-specific strategies and product recommendations. Prepare estimates of production costs and production progress reports for management
Design measurement and control systems for chemical plants based on data collected in laboratory experiments and in pilot plant operations
Use SAP to monitor production/business functions

Work with the plant engineers and maintenance to influence the direction of preventative maintenance best practices

Regular review of batch first pass yield, felt production quality, distressed, obsolete, scrap, and returned material

Interface with leadership, operators, and maintenance to ensure continuous improvement and continuous production

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
