You will be working for one of UK's most up and coming children's health care providers
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing children's residential services and ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, and maintaining high standards of care and safeguarding
As the Operations Manager your key responsibilities include:
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, including preparing for inspections and addressing any requirements or recommendations
Act as the Responsible Individual, providing leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring that all practices meet regulatory and legal standards
Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote the welfare and development of children in care
Manage budgets, resources, and staff schedules to ensure efficient and effective operation of the home
Liaise with external agencies, parents, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive and collaborative care plans
Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, implementing improvements where necessary
Provide training and support to staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Extensive experience in managing children's homes or similar settings
In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and standards for children's services
Proven ability to act as a Responsible Individual with a strong understanding of legal and ethical responsibilities
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively
The successful Operations Manager will receive an excellent salary of £65,000 - £70,000 per annum.

An Independent Fostering Agency is looking for a Fostering Registered Manager for their fostering service that covers the North West Region.
This is a permanent and full-time position that is hybrid working (2-3 days a week in the office) .
You must have a Diploma/Degree in Social Work and have the right to work in the UK (no VISA sponsorship available)
About the team
Your role as Registered Manager is to ensure the organisation provides the highest quality of service to children and young people placed through the Agency and you will manage all recruitment and development of staff.
This team's main focus is to achieve positive experiences for the children and young people.

Lead and manage the fostering service.
Ensure compliance with fostering regulations and standards.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
Recruit, support, and supervise foster carers.
Oversee placements and matching processes.
Monitor service quality and drive improvements.
Manage staff, resources, and budgets.
Handle safeguarding concerns, complaints, and incidents.
Work with partner agencies and local authorities.

About you
The successful candidate will have a social work degree with post qualification management experience in Fostering.

They are responsible for progressing work within the statutory framework for Looked After Children, which involves ensuring Looked After Children reviews, personal education planning meetings, and Looked After Children medicals are progressed within statutory timescales.
