We are searching for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant who has experience working with children, young people, or adults with special educational needs, or in care settings.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
Have at least one year of SEND support experience in a school, childcare, or care setting.
Be a dedicated and motivated educator.
Support children with emotional and behavioural difficulties to access the curriculum effectively.
Demonstrate high levels of care and ambition for our students.
Possess relevant skills to serve a diverse student community, including learners with ASC and SEMH.
Provide 1:1 and small group support to SEND students and deliver engaging activities.
Assess, evaluate, and report on pupil progress.
Requirements:
Energetic and patient with strong classroom management skills.
Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.
Recent experience with children in a school or similar environment is preferred; general experience with children in the UK is essential.
Enjoy working with children and witnessing their progress.
