Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to build trusting relationships with children, young people, and colleagues.
Previous experience working in a childcare or social care setting (preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided).
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
A valid UK driving license (preferred but not essential).

Responsibilities of the Therapeutic Residential Worker:
Experience working as a Support Worker in a similar setting (including SEN or PRU schools, youth work, youth offending, children's social care - desirable as full training given)
Ensuring to help the children with their emotional, physical and developmental needs.
Display yourself as an appropriate role model
Demonstrate a positive attitude, empathy and resilience
Encourage positive life experiences for the children
Strong experience building report
Strong experience working in a team environment
Ability to communicate in a positive and open manner
