About the team
This team specialises in community based work by providing an initial response service for people in the community in need of immediate support.

An important part of this team's responsibilities include best interest decisions, completing S9 care needs assessments and taking part in duty work.
About You
It is essential to have a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years' experience within adult's Social Work post qualified.
A successful candidate will be knowledgeable with the section 9 care needs assessments and be able to perform a section 42 assessment if required, as this is an important part of this role.

The Residential Support Worker role requires full commitment, this is a serious career path that requires self-sacrifice in order to ensure the young people are always put first and receive the support they need.
The job will involve long hours (sometimes 24 hour shifts), overnight sleep in shifts, alternate weekends, sometimes you will need to stay beyond your shift ending to ensure safe handover or bed time routines.
