Typically, this person will oversee and manage technical operations across vessels or maritime assets, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements.
They will liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain operational efficiency and safety standards.

Duties and responsibilities of the Technical Superintendent:
Manage technical operations and maintenance of vessels or maritime assets.
Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and Classification/Flag State requirements.
Oversee certification, inspections, and technical reporting.
Provide leadership and guidance to engineering teams on board and ashore.
Liaise with regulatory bodies, contractors, and suppliers as required.
Qualifications and requirements for the Technical Superintendent:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
Higher Maritime Education qualification.
Certificate of Competence (Engineering) in accordance with STCW 95, with professional experience as Chief Engineer or Superintendent.
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
Knowledge of Classification and Flag State requirements and certificates.
Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written.
Fully proficient with computers and applications.
Full clean Driving License.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following: Understand and manage the capacity milling operation and assist supervising the management of the process performance. Develop safety procedures to be employed by workers operating equipment or working in close proximity to on-going chemical reactions.
Troubleshoot problems with chemical manufacturing processes.
Evaluate chemical equipment and processes to identify ways to optimize performance or to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Conduct research to develop new and improved chemical manufacturing processes.

Meet regularly with ECommerce Merchant Team and Brand Advocate to align goals, strategic initiatives, and growth opportunities. Develop executive level presentations for the ECommerce business and participate in all product line reviews, business reviews, quarterly and annual planning meetings. Manage online pricing for key accounts, execute P&Ls for pricing approvals and develop online promotion calendars. Develop weekly sales and KPI tracking; report out an executive summary as needed. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Process Engineer II is an extension of management.
Responsibilities are broad and include safety, product quality, process control, productivity improvement, and development of a LEAN culture.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assume a leadership position at the facility in partnership with the shift supervisors.

Execute scheduled PHA's and JSA's.
Proactively monitor areas and remediate potential safety issues.
Use DAKOTA software as a tool for compliance and environmental, health and safety.
Use the tool to report incidents, near misses, and non-conformances.
Develop and execute upon "standard work" activities.
Assume responsibility for assigned activities on the Engineering Tier and other accountability boards.
Conduct "GEMBA Walks" daily.
Use walks as the primary means of education and communication of expectations.
Improve productivity through elimination of non-value-added activities.
Apply Engineering principles and methodologies to Improve productivity and eliminate waste.
Work to maximize equipment efficiency and quality for output.
Member of the facility QIC.
Ensure identification of root cause and subsequent prevention of future customer complaints.
Assist in the training of operators with a focus on quality critical product specifications and process parameters.
Significant experience with equipment troubleshooting and process design.
Must be capable of successfully managing major process equipment projects (>$750k) on time and on budget.
Must be capable of leading and/or supervising others in their role or in the execution of completing a project.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

As a Fire Door Inspector, you will be conducting detailed inspections and assessments of fire doors within residential properties to ensure they meet current safety and compliance standards.

You Will Be Responsible For:

* Previously worked as a Fire Door Assessor, Fire Door Inspector, Fire Door Surveyor, Fire Door Compliance Assessor, Fire Door Inspection Engineer, Fire Door Technician, Fire Door Auditor, Fire Door Safety Assessor, Fire Safety Assessor, Fire Risk Assessor, Fire Safety Officer, Fire Safety Consultant, Passive Fire Protection Assessor, Fire Safety Surveyor, Fire Safety Engineer, Fire Safety Specialist, Fire Protection Inspector or in a similar role.
* Certified Fire Door Inspector qualification (such as BM TRADA Q-Mark, IFSM Level 4 Fire Safety, or equivalent).
* A comprehensive understanding of UK fire safety legislation and building regulations.
* Proven experience inspecting, assessing, and reporting on fire doors within residential settings.
* A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with flexibility to travel nationwide.
* Confident in using inspection tools and digital reporting systems.
