Job description:
As an Estimator you will play a vital role in the day-to-day aspects of tender delivery.
Reporting to the Pre-Construction Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Collaborating with the Pre-Construction Manager to ensure the smooth running of the bid process, encompassing preliminary design, programs, and technical proposal compilation.
Carefully reviewing Tender documents to ensure their completeness, and actively participating in bid initiation & GO / NO GO assessments.
Coordinating and preparing bids, engaging with various suppliers, sub-contractors, and 3rd parties, including equipment supply proposals.
Compiling supporting proposal documentation, such as technical proposals, equipment selection information, project delivery & management plans, and preliminary project programmes.
Demonstrating an organized approach to deliver tender proposals within stringent timelines.
Assisting in program planning, analysis, and updates.
Supporting Pre-Construction Manager in various departmental development work.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Proven experience in a similar role.
A minimum of a Level 7 Degree in a relevant qualification, such as Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and provide valuable insights during team meetings.
Excellent communication skills, enabling effective engagement with suppliers, sub-contractors, and team members.
A proactive approach, displaying problem-solving abilities, and the adaptability to address issues during tender compilation.

Ensuring accuracy in supplier and subcontractor statements
Responsible for the creation of sales invoices, credit notes, and customer communication
Daily cash posting and effective resolution of sales queries.
Providing support across various finance department functions
Liaising with suppliers, customers, subcontractors, and internal teams
Managing CIS deductions, HMRC returns, journals, accruals, prepayments, retention journals, VAT returns, and month-end processes.
Assisting in the management of cashflow and budgeting
THE PERSON:
Experience as a Senior Assistant Accountant, Finance Assistant, Assistant Management Accountant or Accountant
Essential: CIS expertise, proficiency in Xero, Excel
Recent experience in sales and purchase ledger tasks
Open to considering QBE or part qualified in AAT, CIMA or ACCA

Production Order card must be read and followed exactly as to correct packaging including labeling of cans and cases, etc.
Operator is responsible to report correct counts of production for the shift and report downtime information.

Neatly assemble and place all required materials from the fill card to be used in their appropriate location throughout the shift. Read and follow filling procedures to package material into cartridges, chubs, or one, two and five-gallon units. Follow and meet the established production schedules. Properly use the filling equipment and maintain cleanliness of the work area following written standard operating procedures. Assist in the waste segregation and recycling program. Communicate written and verbal information between the Foreman and Production Manager. Use appropriate safety equipment and follow established safety regulations. EXPERIENCE:
