TASKS PROFILE: Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following: Deliver, move, or route materials to and from production areas and loading docks by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other material handling equipment. Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information. Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs. Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets. Sort cargo before loading and unloading. Ensure secure shipment of finished goods by stretch wrapping of palletized products using stretch wrapping equipment and blocking and bracing loads Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers. Carry needed tools and supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use. Perform all material handling functions related to shipping and warehousing, including truck loading, material receiving, storage and supply of filling lines with packaging components Receive and store raw materials in their proper place. Process receiving, inventory, and shipping transactions in SAP in accordance with established procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in shipping, receiving, warehouse, and dock areas; promptly communicate all spills or other hazards to the shift supervisor or another member of the plant management staff. Safely use material handling equipment, including sit-down and standup forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories as necessary. May assist in other departments as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. JOB DESCRIPTION GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Senior Construction Accountant (Tremco CPG Inc.) is responsible for the accounting activities associated with the Tremco CPG Inc.'s service businesses that offer comprehensive roofing and general contracting services to building owners and facility managers in the United States and Canada. Candidates should possess a strong command of US generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and of provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. This position will oversee processes critical to the business including percentage of completion (POC) and ASC 606 revenue recognition. Additionally, they will coordinate the controls related to the revenue recognition process. This position must have strong communication, technology, analytical and management skills. This position will be instrumental in developing enhanced policies, procedures, systems improvements, and will participate in a variety of special financial projects. This role is a hybrid position (will work partially from home and a few days per week at the Beachwood headquarters) and reporting to the Tremco CPG Inc. Roofing Controller. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for critical accounting and reporting activities for Tremco CPG Inc.'s service roofing and general contracting businesses, including month-end and annual close. Ensure timely completion of month-end close procedures to adhere to strict deadlines. Work alongside construction managers and other operations team members to perform monthly control activities related to percentage of completion revenue recognition. Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with construction team members Prepare monthly reconciliations associated with contract assets and WIP Collaborate with contract admin team to document processes and enhance control environment. Review monthly balance sheet and income statement analytics and other procedures as part of the month-end close to ensure transactions have been properly captured. Perform monthly and quarterly controls within company policies and procedures. Successfully interfaces with internal audit and external audit resources. Provide audit requests timely and facilitate completion of the audit on time.The duties above are performed within the guidelines of US GAAP while adhering to corporate procedures, internal/Sarbanes Oxley controls and RPM reporting requirements. As our Batchmaker you will produce paint and related products by setting up, operating, or tending machines to mix or blend materials, such as chemicals, liquids, color pigments, explosive ingredients, or rust-proofing materials. TASK PROFILE: Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following: Stages and charges necessary raw materials into process flow tanks. Follows batch work instructions in order to manufacture quality products. Weigh or measure chemicals, coatings, or paints before adding them to machines. Prepares disperser and letdown tank for production, including any necessary equipment clean up. Monitors and controls high-speed disperser, mixer, pumps, flow meters and other instruments in order to make sure that a batch is produced according to work instructions. Adjust a batch, under QC guidance, until it is approved. Get batch tickets from floor supervisor and discuss with floor supervisor the best order. Determine raw materials needed. Housekeeping - Clean-up work area to 5S standards, takes out trash, participate in cycle count and inventory program. May assist in other departments such as filling, and material handling or help make sample batches. Ensure work area is safe, clean and free of recognizable hazards, communicating all spills or other hazards to the shift supervisor. Responsible for Dust collector cleanouts when required. Perform other duties as assigned. Responsibilities/Expectations: Communicate with Supervisors, peers, or subordinates: provide information to supervisors and co-workers in written form or in person. Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality. Learn all manual tasks performed within the department. Perform tasks assigned using specific operating procedures and following department specific quality control processes and procedures. Treat people with dignity and respect. Conduct all business with integrity. Adhere to Rust-Oleum Corporation Quality principles and participate in all departmental and company-wide Quality activities. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. QUALIFICATIONS: Required Experience: 1-3 years of related production experience High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Able to read batch tickets and prepare labels for products; basic math Able to operate high-speed dispersers and other operating equipment Ability to lift 50-100 pounds, read digital scales and flow meters Experienced forklift operator Skills Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly. Quality Control Analysis - Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance. Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems. Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action. Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it. Coordination - Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions. Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
