JOB DESCRIPTION
The Director of Operations will lead, manage, and develop a manufacturing and continuous improvement strategy across assigned facilities to meet long and short-term objectives.
Implement lean manufacturing practices to deliver high standards of operational excellence.
Ensure manufacturing data and metrics are accurately developed, collected, analyzed, and reported to drive continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops processes, strategies, and budgets to meet company goals, especially those related to productivity, product specification, quality standards, on time delivery, lead time, scrap reduction, and safety.
Leads, directs, and oversees all aspects of manufacturing operations and infrastructure for assigned facilities.
Takes prompt corrective action when necessary to bring manufacturing performance in line with plans and governing standards.
Plans, directs, controls, implements, evaluates, monitors, and forecasts budgets and cost of sales at each facility to achieve financial objectives.
Ensures continued financial viability through sound fiscal management, preventative service maintenance and capital expenditure planning.
Collaborates with senior leadership, operational leaders/peers, and management teams to refine and implement the lean transformation strategic plan.
Drives operational growth through current and future products with an emphasis on streamlining operations and driving productivity throughout assigned plants.
Operates collaboratively and cross-functionally to establish and drive working capital improvement programs, optimize planning and scheduling, reduce work-in-process levels, and improve overall inventory turns.
Continuously addresses and resolves manufacturing constraints to achieve 100% on-time delivery.
Ensures the execution of Lean concepts including but not limited to Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, GEMBA walks, poke yoke, KPIs, business statistics etc.
Approves and directs the implementation and maintenance of operating policies.
Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company's efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.
Provides leadership and coaching to ensure a well-trained, motivated, and goal-oriented workforce driven to attain objectives and satisfactory performance in accordance with established policies and programs.
Coaches and develops team members in personal accountability, root cause corrective action, interpersonal communications, and company procedures and policies.
Provides effective, inspiring, and motivating leadership by being actively involved and developing a broad and deep knowledge of strengths, opportunities, customers, products, geographic challenges, workforce, etc.
Builds bench to ensure growth and succession.
Assesses capacity and resources to forecast current and future needs.
Clearly defines and communicates goals, key objectives, and metrics as well as new directives, policies, or procedures.
Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community; leads by example.
Provides regular performance updates to the senior leadership.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering, operations, business, or closely related discipline.
Master's degree in business administration, manufacturing or engineering preferred.
Green or Black Belt Certification and/or Lean Manufacturing Certification preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 10+ years of manufacturing experience; 7 years' operations management experience; 3 years' multiple facilities experience required.
Experience in cost reduction, Lean manufacturing principles or other CI methodologies, design for manufacturability, project management and team building.
Experience in budgeting, fiscal management, and strategic planning/execution.
Extensive and diversified background in fabrication and/or chemical manufacturing preferred.
Understanding of PPV and POV and how to tie it to the P&L.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Technical Application Specialist ensures proper application of Tremco products in accordance with company and industry guidelines by providing both on-site and office-based problem resolution assistance.

Technical Application Specialist
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Technical Application Specialist ensures proper application of Tremco products in accordance with company and industry guidelines by providing both on-site and office-based problem resolution assistance.
This individual is a technical liaison between the business and Tremco's field-based internal and external stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide or obtain accurate and timely product application, qualification, and/or troubleshooting services to internal colleagues and external business partners
Assist with general on-site product application, training, and general substrate review.
Assist with the generation and maintenance of technical documentation and collateral with various internal departments.
Examples include application instructions, technical data sheets, technical marketing collateral, product training programs, 3rd party testing/validation reports, and other product assets.
Assist in the collection of laboratory data forproject and/or product-specific testing.
Assist with and/or perform in-field and in-house analytical lab testing to confirm the chemical compatibility and physical adhesion properties of Tremco products on specified jobs, for evaluating new areas of application, new product development, and competitive product analysis.
Conduct jobsite observations/evaluations with customers and field sales reps to make accurate and timely product and installation recommendations.
Compose official letters and/or corporate communiques, including installation instructions, job qualification parameters, and competitive product comparisons along with assisting in the development of detail drawings to help secure sales opportunities.
Provide or obtain accurate and timely answers to inquiries on product usage, comparative competitive products, web-site navigation, product specifications, repair techniques, assessment and/or remedial course of action recommendations for jobsite problems, environmental regulations, construction sequencing, and technical product property questions.
Ensure product performance through proper recommendation of jobsite qualification and application techniques.
Possess and leverage a basic knowledge of Tremco's product portfolio.
Learn assigned core product line technology while assisting higher level Application Specialists with occasional direction.
Provide clear written and verbal technical support and product recommendations to internal and external stakeholders including sales representatives, technical representatives, owners, architects, engineers, contractors, installers, etc.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree inScience, Civil Engineering,Construction Management or similarfieldpreferred
EXPERIENCE
1+ years of Technical Service, Technical Sales, or Construction Industry experience required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
OHSA 10 Preferred but not required
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Experience with Auto CAD, Word, Excel, etc.
Ability to manage multiple, shifting priorities.
Effective team player.
Self-motivated and driven.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
Hands-on and conceptual mechanical aptitude.
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $52,960 - $66,200.
This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.

Role and Responsibilities of the Electrical Design Engineer:
The Electrical Design Engineer will report directly to the E&I Manager, alongside the Operations Director.
They will work with the Projects Team to develop and produce electrical schematic drawings.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for technical design and controlling projects
Meeting customer requirements within agreed timescales and acceptable cost parameters.
Working with customers and to develop a good working relationship with Clients
Responsible for producing drawing packages including panel design and control circuitry ensuring compliance in the development of assigned projects with all relevant specifications, standards, and safety regulations
Working with other departments and provide technical support and assistance to sales, manufacturing, and commissioning phases
Design systems to industry and particular specifications incorporating company standards and customer requirements, including all design calculations.
Production of electrical, control and instrumentation design documentation and drawings including:
Single line diagrams
Load schedules
Block Cable diagrams
Control philosophies
Instrument schedules
Control system & communications block diagrams
Qualifications and Skills needed for the Electrical Design Engineer role:
HNC in Electrical Engineering
Full UK Driving License
Experience within AutoCAD 2D and 3D
Strong Understanding of P&ID's & Schematic Drawings
Experience of working on PLC Systems
ATEX Knowledge would be desired
