Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Lead, coach, and develop customer service team members by setting clear performance expectations, establishing goals, conducting performance evaluations, and providing ongoing feedback to drive engagement and productivity.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment that encourages continuous improvement and professional growth.
Ensure team members are effectively trained in customer service best practices, product knowledge, company policies, and internal systems through the development and maintenance of SOPs and training materials.
Act as the primary escalation point for complex customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely, professional, and satisfactory resolution.
Analyze customer feedback, service metrics, and operational data to identify trends and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Support the organization's transition from a traditional customer service model to a proactive, end-to-end customer experience approach.
Perform system and regression testing related to customer service processes and workflows to ensure system accuracy and functionality.
Coordinate and submit help desk tickets for system or equipment issues impacting team performance and follow through to resolution.
Monitor Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) data and system queries to identify errors and implement corrective actions, ensuring order-to-invoice accuracy and operational efficiency.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Accounts Receivable, Operations, and Distribution teams to ensure a seamless and consistent customer experience.
Qualifications
Experience and Education Required
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in customer service or customer support roles
At least 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
Demonstrated experience handling escalated customer issues and resolving complex service challenges.
Experience working with CRM or ERP systems and customer service platforms.
Education and Experience Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
5+ years of direct supervisory experience in a customer service or customer experience environment.
Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP systems.
Prior experience leading process improvement initiatives or participating in continuous improvement programs.

Maintains accounts through prospecting, closing, and providing solid market presence including serving customers.
Developing Business
Preparing and/or distributing marketing materials
Inspection and evaluation of the property
Preparing roof drawings and sketches
Preparing scope of work documents
Preparing proposals
Attending sales calls
Pricing patch and repair jobs
Providing technical expertise
Attending meetings with the architect, contractor and/or owner
Managing Accounts
Identifying, analyzing, resolving problems
Preparing reports to owners regarding the condition of roofs.
Project site visits to monitor installation of Tremco roofing products
Identification of any aspect of installation that does not comply with specifications
Review and resolve concerns of architects, contractors and owners regarding Tremco's installation instructions
Coordinating visits with contractors
Preparing reports on progress and problems for the Sales Representative.
QA/ QA+ inspections
Tremcare Gold Service (periodic visual inspection with minor repairs being addressed where detected on Tremco warranted roofs only).
Identifying and troubleshooting problems arising during installation and the lifecycle of the roof May occasionally perform patch and repair work for small leaks that can be performed quickly after identifying the leak and other infrequent, limited physical labor.
May also perform minor maintenance (caulking, flashing touch up, applying small amounts of mastic, removing debris, etc.) to prevent potential leaks.
Other Work
This work may include but is not limited to:
Conducting diagnostic infra-red scans of roofs
Taking photographs
Preparing CADD drawings
Delivering or picking up samples, documents or small products from/to architects, owners and contractors.
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or combination of education and experience.
Must have a minimum of two to three years of related hands-on experience and/or training in a similar role.
Prior sales and/or customer related experience in roofing industry required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform/assist with diagnostic roof inspections, including Infrared, Nuclear, visual, & other inspection services, along with related information gathering and verification tasks.
Work with Lead Diagnostics Technician Collaborate with other Field Supervisors as necessary. Serve as a point of contact for office personnel in case of any issues related to a diagnostic problem. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times when providing services to customers. In conjunction with the Manager of Diagnostic Services, assist in training other field personnel on diagnostic tools, techniques, and processes.
