Zest Optical are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager for a leading manufacturer of Ophthalmic Lenses.
The purpose of this role is to build strong business relationships with customers in the independent optical market across South West England (South Wales, Cornwall, Devon Somerset, Bath, Gloucestershire, Bristol & Wiltshire).
The Business Development Manager represents the company in the designated territory and is responsible for the development of profitable growth in value and volume according to the agreed budget.
The role will also involve increasing market share via business consulting and building long-term relationships with existing and new customers.
Business Development Manager - Role
To manage accounts and their agreed sales volumes, values, product mix.
To win new business through networking and cold-calling new accounts.
To maintain and develop a customer and prospect database via cold calls and appointments.
You will be setting the pace by being timely and efficient in your response time to customers and in the deployment of new and existing initiatives to drive sales quickly and consistently.
To develop ideas and create offers/promotions to enhance territory business levels.
To meet/exceed quarterly/annual sales target set by the company.
To respond to and follow up sales enquiries by telephone and field visits.
To maintain and develop existing and new customers relationships through individual account support

Whats the role?
The Finance Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Supervise transactional team (with deliverables and KPIs)
- Payment and payroll checks before approvals
- Pension Administration
- Month end task management of transactional team
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Escalated account issues (debt chasing, supplier/customer setups and queries)
- Ledgers (cashbook, debtors, creditors) oversight in terms of unallocated items

Purpose and Responsibilities:
As a PSTN Scheduling Officer you will:
Work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders to schedule appointments using in-house technology and reporting tools.
This includes appointments at service users' homes and across our corporate estate.
Work proactively to ensure schedules are developed efficiently to facilitate the effective allocation of staff resources and the timely completion of project milestones.
Monitor the completion of site visits by trained operatives, ensuring records are updated and any follow-on actions identified are scheduled for completion by the responsible teams.
Effectively manage any amendments or cancellations to bookings, ensuring these are rescheduled.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders internally and externally.
Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and staff, responding to routine queries or issues, and escalating these where required.
Maintain excellent customer service in all areas of work.
Provide administrative support to the PSTN (analogue to digital) project team.
Undertake data entry and any other duties commensurate to the role as directed by the PSTN Team Leader or PSTN Project Manager.
