Specific Requirements:
Works directly with the Production Superintendent, other Production Supervisors, Process Technicians, Utility, and others in the safe handling of the equipment and chemical intermediates in both storage and use in production. Review, check, and signoff on appropriate paperwork for both their own and the Process Technicians and Utility employees under watch. Oversee the training of Process Technicians and Utility employees as well as administer reviews and additional trainings as required.
Have a good command and general working knowledge of manufacturing equipment (i.e.
cooling tower fans and circulation pumps, chiller system, steam boilers, air compressors, reactors, and emergency shutdown procedures. Comprehension of manufacturing techniques vacuum distillation, atmospheric controls, chemical addition, filtration methods, control of exothermic reactions, and adjustment of rates of addition within the operating requirement of equipment used. Inventory Control through cycle counts, batch log & MUS record keeping, and filling or transferring documentation. Manages inventory reduction per departmental inventory reduction strategy. Understand and demonstrate compliance with HMIS, SDS's, HAZCOM, General Safety, Tank Markings, Plant Signage, HAZWASTE, LO/TO, PSM, PPE protocol, and proper housekeeping. This is a remote position, with Euclid Chemical's main campus located in Ceveland, OH.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a technical ambassador for the Euclid Chemical cement additive sales team. Subject matter expert to provide feedback and troubleshooting information for customers. Act as a technical expert on the latest cement manufacturing technologies, equipment, and best practices to maintain Euclid Chemical's competitive edge. Deliver customer support through industrial trials, mill audits, special projects, data analysis, and detailed reporting to retain existing customers and attract new ones Compile and analyze industrial trial process data, and prepare detailed reports providing conclusions and action items from industrial trial runs. Keep thorough and updated records of activity history with active and potential cement additive customers. Design and execution of plant industrial trials and mill audits. Maintenance and operation of portable pump equipment inventory to utilize during industrial trials. Collaborate with the Cement Additives Technical Manager and Cement Lab Manager to develop new products and enhance existing lines based on market trends, competitive analysis, and industrial trial results. Work collaboratively with Euclid Chemical Cement Additives Lab team in the development and improvement of laboratory ball mill methodologies for testing materials.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical or mechanical) or chemistry - master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cement manufacturing process control or quality management.
Skills and Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge and understanding of cement manufacturing, cement chemistry, and raw and finish mill circuit operation. Basic understanding of cement additives chemistries. Ability to interpret lab outputs (e.g., XRD, clinker microscopy, isothermal calorimetry, and physical test results) to develop customer-specific strategies and product recommendations. Proficiency with cement standards (ASTM, CSA, etc.). Strong knowledge of milling equipment, particle classifiers, circuit configurations, and pyro processes for optimizing clinker performance. Advanced knowledge of MS Office computer software: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Basic knowledge of MS Outlook, Teams, Edge Internet Browser. Knowledge of industry trends, including low clinker content cement production and co-grinding with alternative materials. Data analysis and report writing skills. Communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership and team management capabilities. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ability to design and execute plant industrial trials and mill audits.
Travel:
Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings and plant industrial trials (up to 50%).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all dispenser equipment in the field. Ability to visit and evaluate a plant to order the proper dispenser equipment needed to do the job right (such as conduit for electrical, hose lengths, position of dispenser, etc.) Install the dispenser equipment and help assist the customer in matching our dispenser to their plant (such as counts, added products, etc.).
When the install is complete tech is responsible to clean up any mess that was created during the visit. Will be responsible to pick up any equipment in the field that needs to be removed, and returned to a Euclid facility.
Responsible to wash out any tanks immediately upon being returned at the Euclid Chemical plant with the guidance of the plant manager on the waste product. Willingness and ability to restore any used equipment that can be reused. Will be required to do paperwork (such as DOT Certifications, Expense Reports, Daily or Weekly Reports, etc.) The DOT Certifications will be done professionally on Euclid Letterhead and handed to the customer. May be asked to transfer safe amounts of material from location to location (such as raw materials for concrete testing, admixture, fiber, etc.). Required to order equipment and install that equipment at the designated customer location and maintain that equipment after installation. Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment when needed. Assist in state inspections where necessary. Respond to customer issues with those dispensers when needed. Assure that their truck is properly equipped with the necessary parts to fix or repair the equipment.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Travel: Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays when required.
Flexibility: A flexible schedule, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends, depending on customer needs.
Work Ethic: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, fabrication, and mathematical concepts is essential.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform tasks in various environmental conditions and handle equipment safely.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Hours: 1st shift, Mon-Fri
Pay: $26/hour - $30/hour
Document quantity, quality, type, weight, test result data, and value of materials or products, in order to maintain shipping, receiving, and production records and files.
Compare product labels, tags, or tickets, shipping manifests, purchase orders, and bills of lading to verify accuracy of shipment contents, quality specifications, and/or weights.
Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
Maintains accurate inventory records by: Cycle counting, auditing locations, closing monthly SAP transactions, analyzing data and preparing inventory reports for monthly Inventory Accuracy report.
Proactively identifying potential process improvements, resolving issues to completion, and participate in facility wide QIO teams.
Provide support within inventory group, supporting improvements, backing up MTO process, and scheduling, assisting other operations groups, and participating in other assignments.
Requirements
Experienced with Excel and other Office programs.
Familiarity/experience with SAP or other ERP software preferred.
Experience with cycle counting process.

Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to size or processing angle of product.
Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using motorized equipment.
Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor. Secure finished packaged items by hand tying, sewing, gluing, stapling, or attaching fastener.
Mark or tag identification on parts.
Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
Clean and lubricate equipment. The Euclid Chemical Company is now hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cleveland, OH This position is primarily responsible for performing preventative maintenance (PM) tasks to ensure the ongoing reliability, safety, and performance of plant equipment.
In addition to scheduled PMs, this role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems as needed to minimize unplanned downtime.
Technicians will also assist with equipment installations, fabrication, and continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities and Duties: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and improve equipment life Weld and fabricate components for equipment repair or modification as needed Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild a wide variety of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using meters, schematics, and other test equipment Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics Accurately complete and update maintenance records using SAP's Plant Maintenance Module Assist with identifying repairs, documenting short- and long-term needs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, and scissor lifts Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions Comply with all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar environment Strong mechanical knowledge, including troubleshooting and repair of pumps, gearboxes, motors, chains, sprockets, pulleys, and belts Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics Skilled in welding, fabrication, and use of cutting equipment Basic computer skills, including the use of email and maintenance High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or training is a plus
Requirements:
Must be able to work Monday - Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with occasional overtime based on production and maintenance needs. Self-motivated individual who can work independently with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements: The ability to stand, walk, lift, and move for extended periods.
Regular activities include standing, walking, using hands to handle or feel objects, reaching with arms, speaking, and hearing.
Frequent actions include climbing or balancing, while occasional tasks may involve sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
The technician must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The work environment may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasional vibration, with moderate noise levels typical of an industrial setting.
