JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary responsibility of Technical Sales Manager is to manage the day-to-day sales activities and account responsibilities to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and market segment by effectively selling and training of DAP StormBond Roof Tile Adhesive products and DAP caulks and sealants.
Territory includes Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic plan by effectively utilizing marketing programs, leveraging field resources, product training, event marketing, and outside sales partners. Create and work from a written business development plan for the industry and markets you service. Provide Technical assistance to Distributors, Installers, and Building Inspectors for product and related equipment. Training of customers by performing live product demonstrations, remote learning, and education presentations. Regularly call dealers and prospects in assigned area. Provide support to dealers on product knowledge, end user work, event marketing, and merchandising. Communicate opportunities, issues, trends to management and marketing. Establish relationships with dealers, regional & national wholesalers, and key end users. Effectively manage T&E and promotional budgets. Daily Local Travel within region, minimal overnight travel. Other administrative duties required by DAP.
Requirements
3-5 years sales experience in roofing and complimentary products Bilingual (Spanish/English) is required. Construction experience as an installer, especially the installation of foam Roof Tile Adhesive products is not required but is a major plus. Exceptional verbal, presentation, and training skills both.
Ability to work independently with new and existing clients to overcome typical sales objections (i.e.
- price, application knowledge, etc.) Cold-calling success within a territory to both large nationwide clients as well as small businesses in the roofing industry. Working knowledge and understanding of the permitting process with NOA's and approvals. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products (i.e.
Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) Ability to work in adverse conditions, around chemicals, navigate construction sites, and climb ladders.

The Construction Manager Junior Associate position will train in many departments within Roofing and WTI while engaged in a degree seeking program through RISE.
The following areas will be included in training as well as any others deemed appropriate: WTI Field - WTI Field Resources to learn installation of different types of roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems, as well as safe operations of tools of the trade.

Essential Functions:
Responsible for overseeing all Sales Representatives within their territory. Manage all segments of the profit/loss statement to assure annual goals are achieved. Develop and direct sales programs, within company policies. Assist in the management/collection of A/R, and all consigned inventory. Manage district using Carboline SFA communication tool/spec/quotes/target accounts/budgets. Assign accounts to, direct, train, and motivate sales representatives to call on customers and prospective customers to achieve sales plans. Develop annual operating budgets/plans to grow the district sales/profits. Maintain personal contact, sell and service major accounts within assigned area. Negotiate approved contracts; review and analyze customer needs and recommend new products or improvements to present products to meet customer requirements. Investigate and analyze market trends and competitors' positions in the market. Arrange for demonstration of products and assist customers and prospective customers to test products; determine customer reaction and suggest modifications to meet their requirements. Coordinate activities with other Marketing and Sales functions and Division functions in connection with product improvement, sales programs, and customer service; establish and maintain close relationships with customers to promote good relations. Communicate with and use all corporate resources (financial, marketing, technical, R & D, Administrative) to achieve regional goals. Make several trips to each assigned territory each year to train sales personnel and make calls with assigned representatives on key accounts and projects. Provide sales information necessary to manage local warehouses & distribution centers. Work closely with other internal regional sales organizations to resolve all internal issues (commissions, account issues, complaints, etc.). Perform additional duties as assigned Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.

This role involves data management, data analysis, spend reporting, vendor and commodity forecasts, quote analysis, and overall support for the sourcing team in day-to-day tasks for assigned categories. Key Responsibilities: Sourcing Initiatives: Develop and execute sourcing initiatives, including data management, data analysis, spend reporting, vendor and commodity forecasts, and quote analysis. Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Purchasing, Marketing, Brand Sourcing, Production, Plants, and Master Data teams to align projects and strategies with organizational objectives. Strategy Development: Assist in strategy development and execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, considering market dynamics, cost drivers, risk management, and internal requirements. Data Management: Collect, analyze, and update purchasing data, vendor master data, and material master data in SAP. Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis, forecasting, competitive benchmarking, and industry analysis to identify emerging opportunities or risks and report to sourcing managers Reporting: Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations for management. Research category trends, understand and evaluate supplier capacity to support business needs, and recommend new product capabilities. Negotiation: Assist with supplier negotiations related to costs of parts, tooling, and project timelines. Tactical Purchasing: Handle tactical purchasing activities such as expediting material and managing open PO issues. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data management and analysis. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in SAP and other relevant software. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills: Experience in market analysis and competitive benchmarking. Knowledge of cost drivers and risk management in sourcing.
