What will you be doing?
Oversee the entire permitting process for solar PV projects, ensuring compliance with local, regional, and national regulations.
Manage interactions with government agencies, municipalities, and regulatory authorities to secure necessary permits and approvals.
Lead environmental impact assessments and other required studies to support project authorization.
Coordinate with internal development, legal, and engineering teams to ensure timely and efficient permitting processes.
Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on ongoing and future projects.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, public officials, and community representatives.
Support due diligence efforts for project acquisitions and financing by assessing permitting risks and status.
Are you the ideal candidate?
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in permitting and regulatory approvals for renewable energy projects in Italy, with a focus on solar PV.
In-depth knowledge of Italian permitting procedures, environmental regulations, and land use planning.
Experience working with public authorities, municipalities, and regulatory bodies.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple permitting processes simultaneously.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in Italian and English.

We are seeking a Data Processor to join our team at the state-of-the-art Remote Operations Centre (ROC) in Aberdeen.
The ROC supports offshore operations using innovative and industry-leading technology and protocols from our onshore facility.
The Remote Operations Data Processor will primarily handle hydrographic data processing and produce deliverables for internal stakeholders and clients.
You will be part of the Marine Site Characterisation Client Deliverables team, working shifts within the ROC.
This position operates on a rotational basis with 12-hour shifts.
This role is ideal for someone who is results-oriented, well-organized, and thrives in a high-pressure environment.
You should be eager to join a great team, prioritize safety, and have a background in hydrography, geomatics, geospatial sciences, GIS, mapping sciences, oceanography, or related fields.
Experience with hydrographic/bathymetric data and processing software is essential.
This onshore position offers a regular working pattern and a healthy work/life balance.
In the Remote Operations Centre, you will collaborate closely with Geophysicists, CAD/GIS Specialists, Project Surveyors, and Project Managers to process, report, and chart survey data sets, ensuring quality deliverables.
A typical day involves monitoring data quality on survey vessels, liaising with survey staff, maintaining survey logs, processing navigation and multibeam echo sounder data from various platforms, ensuring data suitability for charting and reporting, generating GIS-compatible survey data products, and constructing survey charts compliant with standards.
We are looking for candidates with a BSc or MSc in a relevant survey-related discipline, a good understanding of survey and processing principles, excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines, attention to detail, quality, and safety, and a disciplined, self-motivated, and flexible team player.
Candidates must be Aberdeen-based or willing to relocate.
Knowledge of hydrographic processing software is desirable.

The role
As Senior Geophysicist you are responsible for the quality control of data acquisition, and the interpretation and reporting of geophysical survey data, in accordance with documented procedures and work instructions.
Also supervise and lead Project Geophysicists, Geophysicists and other trainee staff during data acquisition and reporting.

Interpret and integrate a variety of data and prepare reports in accordance with contractual specifications, Fugro standards and styles and Quality Assurance documentation, under supervision of Geoscience Supervisor, Geoscience Team Leaders or Senior Geophysicist as appropriate

We are seeking a Senior Hydrographic Data Processor based in Aberdeen with occasional offshore requirements.
The role involves supervising, guiding, and supporting all data processing activities, taking ownership of projects, and providing feedback and recommendations to both offshore and onshore teams.
The candidate will work closely with the MAI Client Deliverables team, particularly the Processing Support Lead and Processing Supervisor.

The candidate will also identify their own training needs, bring them to the attention of the department manager, and take full advantage of the training opportunities provided.
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for successfully completing offshore processing campaigns to a standard where the MAI Client Deliverables team can finalize, ensuring an appropriate handover and highlighting any issues at the earliest opportunity.
The candidate will identify software issues and recommend improvements, assist in designing or amending project-specific workflows, and research and recommend new ways of working.
Additionally, the candidate will provide offshore/onshore training to junior personnel when required and seek out and bring any personal training requirements to the attention of the Processing Supervisor.
