The Euclid Chemical Company is currently looking for a Purchase Planner for our plant located in Cleveland, OH.
The Production Planner is responsible for forecasting site demand and developing long-term and short-term production schedules across multiple departments to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Accountable for planning and purchasing raw materials, packaging, and expense items to support production needs while maintaining inventory accuracy and cost efficiency.
This role partners cross-functionally with operations, corporate purchasing, and customer service to align production plans with business demand and service requirements.

Major Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain long-term forecasted production schedules across six departments based on sales projections and demand trends• Translate forecasted demand into actionable purchasing plans for raw materials, packaging, and bulk deliveries• Create and lock in weekly production schedules, balancing forecast, inventory levels, and material availability• Monitor inventory levels and proactively adjust purchasing and scheduling decisions to prevent stockouts or excess inventory• Purchase and manage site expense items as needed to support operations• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, customer service, and corporate purchasing to align supply with demand and resolve constraints• Utilize SAP to manage purchasing, material requirements, and order processing activities• Build and maintain scheduling tools and production plans using Microsoft Excel• Analyze data and trends to improve forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and overall planning efficiency• Serve as a backup for processing production orders across various departments as needed• Support continuous improvement initiatives • Perform other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor's degree preferred (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field) or equivalent experience• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, planning, or supply chain roles preferred• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required)• SAP experience preferred• Experience in manufacturing or distribution environment preferred

The 2nd shift Quality Technician conducts testing on incoming and outgoing materials to ensure conformance to all quality requirements both internal and external.
In addition, this role maintains the lab in a safe and organized manner to comply with all corporate or governmental policies for safety, environmental, and quality, and assists with plantwide ISO 9001 compliance in whatever capacity required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual batch testing activities per product and procedural requirements.
Perform periodic calibrations of lab and plant equipment.
Participate in the development of quality specifications for raw materials, finished products or substitute materials.
Support ISO Quality systems by understanding quality expectations, work instructions, and completing proper quality documentation.
Perform periodic quality audits of production processes and finished goods.
Communicate with other departments about the status of quality material.
Perform first piece inspections on finished products.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
EXPERIENCE:
One to two years of related experience and/or training.
Minimum one year of related experience working in Extruded Rubber Products (ERP) or similar industry.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
ISO knowledge.
Knowledge of lab testing and extrusion/mixing raw materials preferred.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Track and review all manufacturing spending; propose reclassification entries or accruals as necessary and note anomalies for management.
Perform financial and manufacturing analysis including variance analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
Provide COGS forecasting including standard cost, PPV, and manufacturing variances.
Investigate and explain financial variances.
Prepare plant reports including explanations of variances .
Liaise with internal/external auditors for quarterly and annual audits.
Inventory & Cost Accounting
Manage inventory accuracy, reconciliations, and financial impact analysis.
Perform cost runs and validate product costing working closely with Engineering
Analyze production and purchase price variances.
Month-End Close
Prepare journal entries including accruals and reclassifications.
Reconcile accrual and prepaid accounts.
Support audits.
Ensure confidentiality and integrity of financial data and ensure compliance with GAAP, Tremco CPG Policies and SOX internal controls.
Review Trade and Intercompany Revenue and COGS to ensure accuracy and help ensure Intercompany receivables / payables are in balance.
Budgeting & Planning
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
Calculate labor and overhead rates.
Business Partnership
Provide financial insights to plant leadership.
Support operational efficiency and cost improvement projects.
Support Corporate requests for data including Government surveys and Tax requests.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial construction.
Minimum 3 years' experience in Project Management.
Four to seven years of relevant experience.
SAP Experience primarily in GL, Costing, Procurement and Inventory in a manufacturing environment.
High level analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to recognize errors and/or inconsistencies and take action.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
CPA or CMA preferred.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Installation of different types of roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems
Safe operation of tools of the trade (hand tools, power tools etc.)
Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrates safe work practices.
Work outside in a wide variety of weather conditions and to meet the physical demands of the position, including mobility needed to complete tasks.
Climbing and operating on ladders, able to handle at least 50 lbs.
Effective communication with foremen, supervisors, and other WTI and Tremco employees

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Sales Associate is an introductory sales role in which the associate is partnered with an experienced Sales Professional who will assist in ensuring comprehensive and hands-on training.
