Youll work with 3D laser scanning kit, CMM arms, and the usual range of measuring tools, like: micrometres, callipers, gauges, the lot.
Training on their specific systems is provided, but youll need to bring solid inspection experience and proper attention to detail.
Mechanical Inspector Day-to-day:
- Inspect machined, fabricated, and surface-treated components
- Use laser scanning and manual CMM tools to check accuracy
- Log non-conformities and work with production teams to fix root causes
- Support first article inspections and keep quality records tidy
- Get hands-on across multiple manufacturing cells

Purchasing
When needed, negotiate and monitor formal supplier agreements and other purchase and supply contracts. Leverage corporate wide spending to support "lowest cost of ownership and highest value" by reviewing and analyzing company procurement practices, developing suppliers, and working collaboratively with other departments in the company. Train and coach purchasing department in new systems, practices, and approaches to procurement. Work in cooperation with the Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing and QA Departments to develop a robust supply chain for new and existing products. Conduct formal requests for quote, tabulate, review and compare bids with specifications to verify conformance; consider the quality of items, services and abilities of the supplier in terms of company needs. Evaluate, monitor, select and revise the supplier base based on price, quality, service/support, warranty, and reliability. Develop monthly reports and measures on purchasing activities.
Minimum Qualifications

An equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential duties and meet the necessary employment standards may be considered.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Engineering or related field preferred. 10 years of procurement, supply chain or related experience required. Previous experience in overseas procurement supply chain management preferred.
Prior experience with vendor negotiation and managing complex supplier relationships in a regulated environment, strongly preferred.
Knowledge of contract management and legal compliance (e.g pricing agreements, terms of service), preferred. Experience with ERP systems required.
Certifications
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience

Support RCM/AM with training needs of Superintendents and TMs. Spends at least three days per week in the field, working with team members including training/on-boarding and management of installation partners. Tracking and support for all global account installations within the region, confirming execution in alignment with Global Accounts Management.
Minimum Requirements
B.S.
Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical or Civil) or Construction Management preferred.
In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. A proven ability to manage projects and clearly communicate key project details.
Demonstrates the ability to lead and organize a team. Experience working with general contractors and subcontractors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Spend at least three days per week in the field Required travel can be up to 50%/time in the field. Must possess reliable transportation Valid Driver's License
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 points; frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires wearing of hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, high-visibility vest, and depending on the task, may also require ear protection, respirators, safety harnesses, and specialized protective clothing, while on the worksite.
Preferred Requirements:
Two to Five years' experience in a Stonhard sales territory, sales management, or construction management with demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
