The Redline Group has an urgent requirement for a Contract DSP Engineer - Radar to support an exciting Cambridge based technology business developing advanced sensor and radar systems.
The company is currently bringing a next-generation product to market and requires an experienced contractor to support the development of its signal processing capability during a critical phase of product development.
This is a hands-on role focused on radar signal processing, real-time software development and algorithm implementation, working closely with a small, highly experienced team developing a new ground-based sensing platform.
This role is expected to last 3-4 months initially with strong potential for extension.
The successful contractor will be required on-site in Cambridge for the majority of the assignment.

Radar Signal Processing (Range Doppler, CFAR Detection & Target Tracking)
Real-Time Software Development using Rust, C or C++

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Fire Alarm Engineer to join an established fire and security services provider, supporting the delivery and technical performance of fire and life safety systems.
This is a senior, hands-on position for an experienced fire engineer who can take responsibility for complex technical work, provide technical guidance to other engineers and act as a point of support when more challenging issues arise.
This is a field-based role offering a basic salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus paid travel, on-call and overtime allowances, with total average earnings of £50,000 - £60,000.
Candidates can be based anywhere in London or within 15 miles north and 20 miles south of St Albans (office location).
You will be responsible for:
* Commissioning and testing addressable and conventional fire alarm systems, carrying out complex fault diagnosis and resolving technical issues.
* Configuring system logic, cause-and-effect functions and networked panel arrangements, using manufacturer software for system configuration, diagnostics and optimisation.
* Working across fire alarm platforms including Gent, Advanced, Ziton, Morley and Kentec, alongside associated systems such as air sampling, suppression and smoke ventilation.
* Acting as a technical lead on site, providing guidance, mentoring and practical support to engineers, while contributing to skills development and technical standards.
* Completing commissioning documentation, technical reports, audits and inspections, while providing professional technical support to customers and stakeholders and supporting compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
