GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Construction Manager Junior Associate position will train in many departments within Roofing and WTI while engaged in a degree seeking program through RISE.
The following areas will be included in training as well as any others deemed appropriate: WTI Field - WTI Field Resources to learn installation of different types of roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems, as well as safe operations of tools of the trade.
This position requires hands on; roof or construction site activity. General Contracting - learn and assist in project management duties including but not limited to managing all projects (including GC and larger-scale P&R, TremCares, etc), participating in all proposals, specifications, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts as they affect the aforementioned projects.
Sales & Service Support - Report database management and QC related activities, warranty adjustment, leak tracking, customer service, project administration, product training activities, etc. The Construction Manager Junior Associate will be required to apply and take courses working towards a degree in Construction Management through the WTI partnership with The University of Akron, must maintain a minimum of 2.0 GPA, and will work through the Junior Associate curriculum which includes training in the following: OLI QC, superintendent training, estimating, spec writing, CM admin support, PR/Inspection field services.

The Process Engineer will manage and commercialize new processes developed by the Research and Development department into full scale production within the Tremco Corsicana plant.
The Process Engineer will determine which equipment in the plant is most suited to make new products and what modifications may be necessary for such production to successfully occur. Over the next two years, the Tremco Corsicana facility will design, construct, and commission a new reactor.
This new major plant expansion will introduce new production capabilities to the Corsicana facility and is expected to serve as a model project for further plant modernization efforts.
The employee filling this role will lead this expansion project all the way through the commissioning and scaleup phases. In addition to supporting new products and plant expansions, this individual will also manage and optimize existing processes throughout the plant with the goals of maximizing yield and minimizing batch cycle times. SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES: Safety The Process Engineer will actively participate in process safety reviews, and process hazards analysis as the technical representative. Must understand the hazards of the raw materials, processes, and products in order to develop a safe manufacturing process. Subject matter expert in wide range of chemical plant processes and systems.
Perform safety vent calculations for process upset conditions. Determine the correct control systems and interlocks to safely operate the process. Participate in plantwide process safety programs. The intern will work on a Green Belt project using the DMAIC methodology to identify and implement cost reduction opportunities in material usage and/or process improvements.
Project Description:
The project involves analyzing current material usage and processes and finding ways to reduce waste.
The intern will collect data, analyze processes, and help implement solutions during each stage of the DMAIC process.
Specific Goals:
Identify opportunities to reduce waste to improve throughput and efficiency.
Milestones and Timing:

Milestone 1: Define Phase Timing: Week 1-2 Details: Set project goals and define the scope of work.

Milestone 2: Measure Phase Timing: Week 3-4 • Details: Collect data and identify the impact

Milestone 3: Analyze Phase Timing: Week 5-6 Details: Analyze data to find opportunities for improvement

Milestone 4: Improve Phase Timing: Week 7-9 Details: Suggest improvements

Milestone 5: Control Phase Timing: Week 10-12 Details: Implement solutions and monitor results
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Major: Mechanical & Industrial Engineering. College classification: Junior or Senior Required knowledge of Microsoft Project, MS Office or similar tools for data analysis.

Main responsibilities:
Maintain oversight of the EHS function at the Corsicana Chemical Manufacturing Plant to ensure EHS compliance and risk are evaluated and managed appropriately. Contribute to the development of new and revision of existing EHS policies, procedures, programs, and processes and verify their deployment throughout.
Partner with Corp EHS and other Manufacturing leadership in the planning, development, and implementation of EHS/risk reduction strategies, initiatives, and programs in alignment with SH&E performance trends, business goals, and regulatory obligations. Identify, establish, and communicate cascading EHS goals for the Corsicana Plant, incorporating the needs of Plant as well as the greater Tremco organization. Facilitate workshops and other activities to improve employee engagement and the overall safety culture of the plant. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance on existing and evolving EHS regulatory matters to the EHS team, Site Leadership team and Plant Manager. Assist EHS team and SLT Managers in translating our division's EHS, Process Safety and Security goals into site-specific policies, procedures, and programs. Ensure that the Corsicana Plant implements and sustain effective EHS management systems in accordance with external and internal standards (e.g., Responsible Care, ISO, OHSAS, Energy Services' Integrated Management System, etc.) Interface with federal and local regulatory agencies on behalf of the Corsicana Plant to successfully demonstrate compliance legal, business and customer requirements. Participate as a member of the Corsicana Plant Site Leadership Team (SLT). Monitor the execution of EHS, Process Safety, and Security compliance-related engineering and capital projects at the Corsicana Plant to ensure completion in accordance with deadlines as established with local and federal agencies. Manage EHS compliance tools and processes, both internal and external. Advocate the consistent use of EHS compliance tools and processes throughout the division to report incidents, document incident investigations, and track closure of associated corrective actions in a timely manner. Ensure root cause investigations are conducted for those incidents with the greatest learning potential, lessons learned documents are generated and shared across the network and throughout the company. Audit effectiveness of root cause investigation action items Lead, or apply subject matter expertise in support of, RPM/Tremco EHS goals and objectives as requested. Monitor changes in EHS, Process Safety, and Security laws and regulations, assess the impact of the changes on the organization, and develop guidance documents to satisfy new/modified EHS, Process Safety, and Security requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related area such as Science, Engineering or other technical specialty related to safety, health and environmental practices More than 5 years of practical EHS, Process Safety, and/or Security work experience with increasing responsibility in a chemical production/manufacturing environment Project Management skills Ability to travel Immigration sponsorship not available for this role
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent Experience in managing teams Green Belt or Black Belt certifications Master's degree in a related area such as Science, Engineering or other technical specialty related to safety, health and environmental practices

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will work in conjunction with the process and quality engineering group to support safety, quality, maintenance and production processes.
Learn and use process tools such as Process Safety Management, Behavioral Risk Improvement and Lean Six-Sigma tools including 5S, A3 Problem Solving, Statistical Process Control and Value Stream Mapping.
Interaction with the plant will be part of the daily routine.
Some responsibilities are, but not limited to: Lead small projects for improvement of a process or equipment Collect data for process waste reduction Edit or create P&IDs Work alongside Process Engineers on Capital Expense Projects Conduct meetings to communicate information or collaborate on projects Serve as a back-up for the Quality Lab Safety
