Position Summary:
Carboline is seeking an EH&S Specialist located at our manufacturing facility in Green Bay, WI. This person would be responsible for implementing and managing the environmental, health, safety, security, and emergency response programs for the local production and distribution facility.
We are looking for a dynamic trainer and behavior-based safety implementer for this facility.
This position will involve spending a lot of time on the production floor interacting with employees and supervisors identifying improvements in best practices and improving safety within processes.
PSM experience, hazardous waste management and someone that has worked within a Chemical processing facility is preferred.
Requirements:
Minimum of a BS degree in a safety, regulatory, or chemical related discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in safety, regulatory, and/or chemical fields.
Proven experience as safety manager.
Ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies.
Experience in data analysis and risk assessment.
Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires some physical activity including but not limited to standing/kneeling/walking/sitting on concrete for approximately 50% of workday.
This position could also require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day.
Lifting up to 50 pounds; exposure to dust and chemicals including but not limited to: Amines, Polyamides, Isocyanates, Epoxies, Alkyds, Acrylics, and certain inorganic compounds.
Personal protective equipment would be utilized.
This position will require travel by air and/or car including nighttime and overnight up to 25% of the time.
Essential Functions:
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal EH&S regulations including written programs, record keeping, reports, inspections, monitoring, testing, and training.
Maintain compliance with environmental regulations (Title40CFR) including specifically, but not limited to:
Solid and Hazardous Waste management and disposal
Clean Air Act compliance
Clean Water Act compliance
Emergency Response
Pollution Prevention Planning and Control
Establish local EH&S goals and objectives along with the timely and accurate reporting mechanisms.
Coordinate the investigation of incidents (including near misses and losses) and accidents to determine root causes and assist in the development of corrective and preventive action plans.
Serve as the site liaison to local emergency response providers.
Develop and conduct environmental, safety and health training programs to ensure employee's knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
Serve as Facility Security Officer to implement and maintain facility security requirements as required by the Department of Homeland Security.
Conduct EH&S reviews for new product development, facility modification, product manufacturing modifications and new equipment/machinery installations per the OSHA PSM standard.
Create and update compliance-related standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job hazard analysis (JHAs).
Administer and monitor industrial hygiene sampling and communicate exposure information and/or personal protective equipment requirements to employees.
Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics.
Maintain the health & safety statistics database.
Provide coaching and support to employees, supervision, and management to proactively address safety, health, and environmental risks and concerns.
Initiate or assist in efforts to continuously improve the overall working environment in the facility.
Provide technical assistance, training, and work direction to colleagues in other departments.
Analyze problems, identifying alternative solutions, and implementing recommendations in support of the Company safety goals and objectives.
Identify potential or actual areas of non-compliance through regular auditing and inspections and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
Review and develop profiles for classification of hazardous waste.
Responsible for timely disposal of process waste and waste finished goods.
Provide support to the Corporate Director of EH&S.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.

Ensure EH&S compliance with Federal, state, and local regulations. Monitor, interpret, and analyze EH&S laws, standards and regulations that impact business operations in Corsicana, Texas. Assist with the creation of standard operating procedures for manufacturing processes for safety and environmental purposes and conduct training sessions as necessary to educate workers. Evaluate, develop, and revise site safety management and hazard prevention programs and procedures to ensure a safe workplace for all employees, contractors, and visitors. Develop, promote, and implement a proactive environmental and safety focused culture throughout the organization. Assist with the development, promotion, and implementation of proactive plant-specific EH&S committees as necessary.
Drive awareness and accountability for EH&S performance through all levels of the organization Provide investigation support and ensure root cause and other analysis techniques are harnessed to reduce further incidents. Sustain productive and collaborative working relationships with all levels of the organization to promote proactive use of the EH&S initiatives. Assist with the assessment of the organization's business practices.
Plan the long and short-term objectives for compliance, risk management, and development of training and compliance strategies.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational or Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline. Preferred, 3+ years of on-the-job experience in leading and implementing EH&S programs in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated subject-matter expertise and knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Prior experience working with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Governmental Affairs Strategy Director oversees governmental relations strategies in strategic states, working with local lobbyists and/or consultants to develop strategies to protect and grow Tremco's cooperative purchasing business.
The position includes monitoring legislative activity surrounding cooperative purchasing and public works in all 50 states.
It is imperative that legislative bills are read and interpreted correctly.

This includes preparing and editing proposed legislation, supporting defensive lobbying efforts on opposition bills, and understanding procurement statutes.
The position requires the ability to research and interpret state statutes and administrative policy on public markets.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Team Leader (Manufacturing) is proficient in all areas of production and efficiently & correctly performs all duties in addition to more complex maintenance and continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works under minimal supervision. Adjusts machines to achieve production goals. Collaborates with machine operators in production process. Assists in carrying out production growth strategy. Troubleshoots complex processing problems with little or no assistance. Actively participates in identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Determines priorities and creates procedures to meet objectives of the plant. Ensures maintenance is completed according to Preventative Maintenance Plan. Cross-trains on all production areas in the facility (i.e.
safety, production, equipment). Sets production schedule based on plant and customer needs utilizing factors such as lead time and manufacturing efficiency. Supports and validates the work of machine operators by answering questions, preparing production lines, and providing general direction.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
No formal educational requirement.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
4+ years' related experience and/or training.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in Windows and MS Office products (Word, Excel, & Outlook). Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal). Positive team player. Knowledge of area operations and related safe work practices/procedures and demonstrated ability to coordinate work activities.

Reporting & Compliance Administrator
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Reporting & Compliance Administrator is responsible for conducting financial analyses and audits to support contract compliance and profitability across construction projects.
This position ensures accuracy in billing, forecasting, and reporting through detailed reviews and verification of data within enterprise systems such as SAP and eBuilder.
The role is also critical in ensuring compliance with internal audit controls and external regulations by maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct monthly reviews of contracts to identify fluctuations in gross margin due to change orders, cost increases/decreases, or unforeseen impacts.

Process procurement vehicle fee check requests in compliance with internal guidelines and contract terms.
Collaborate with Procurement, Project Administration, and Accounts Payable to ensure proper documentation and timely processing.
Maintain records of fee check submissions and approvals for audit and reconciliation purposes.
Follow up on outstanding check requests and ensure financial postings are correctly applied in SAP or applicable financial systems.
