The Field Support Specialist works closely with the Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to support and increase the sales activity in the Sales Representative's region.
Maintains accounts through prospecting, closing, and providing solid market presence including serving customers.
Developing Business
Preparing and/or distributing marketing materials

Managing Accounts
Identifying, analyzing, resolving problems

Responsibilities:

Utilize RF scanner and SAP system.

Completes all paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities:
Operates a variety of packaging and filling lines including: placing of packaging on the line, monitoring the filling operation, packing-off finished product, performing quality checks and assisting in the cleaning and changeover of the line.
Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory by proper reporting of material usage, minimizing waste, reporting any spills, and ensuring all items per case and cases per pallet counts are accurate.
Utilize RF scanner and SAP system.
Maintain production logs to accurately record downtime/issues.
Completes all paperwork accurately.
Performs housekeeping duties to ensure a neat and orderly work area.
Abides by all departmental and plant safety rules.
Works in other areas as required by business needs.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
regularly and stand for periods of up to 3 hours at a time
Must be able to team lift 70-100 lbs.

Minimum Requirements:
4 years Chemistry, Engineering degree or Minium of 3+ years equivalent experience in a CI role Formal training in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance manuals and safety rules.
Ability to use a computer for all company required processes, procedures, and training.

Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner. Works in coordination with QC and R&D to isolate, test and recertify Non-Conforming material that can be repackaged and sold. Observing production processes, conducting research, and finding ways to increase efficiency and quality. Proactive problem solving based on statistical analysis of corrective actions / assigned by Engineering Director, Plant Manufacturing Manager, QA, EHS projects. Manage department budget daily, determining spending priorities with VP of Operations and insuring goals and objectives are being met.
Evaluate current spending to determine areas to reduce costs, streamline expenses to maximize value to operation and still maintain customer service.
Utilize the MS 168 process to provide process improvements and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
7 to 10 years of experience in the relevant field
Working knowledge of RF warehouse management system
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel software applications
