We are currently working with a Vehicle Manufacturer based in Doncaster, who are seeking a skilled and professional Vehicle Spray Painter to join their growing team, specialising in the preparation and refinishing of commercial vans.
This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in automotive paintwork who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes on time and to specification.
As a Vehicle Spray Painter, you will play a key role in supporting our production output and upholding the high standards our clients expect.
Key Duties of the Vehicle Spray Painter:
Prepare vehicle surfaces for paint application, including thorough cleaning, sanding, and masking
Mix paint materials accurately to match colour and texture specifications using two-pack paint systems
Apply paint using spray guns and appropriate techniques, ensuring an even, high-quality finish
Monitor drying times and make adjustments in line with technical requirements
Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant workspace, including spray equipment upkeep
Experience with Speed Lining or similar protective coatings is highly advantageous
What we need from you for the Vehicle Spray Painter role:
Demonstrable experience in commercial vehicle painting, bodyshop work, or SMART repairs
Sound knowledge of paint mixing, matching, and application techniques
Proficient in the use of spray guns and workshop paint systems
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistent results

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in a structured training program to learn about our products, industry, and field support techniques. Shadow experienced Field Technical team members to observe and learn effective field support strategies in your designated territory. Assist Field Technical team by providing recommendations of products and solutions for customer base. Assist customers by providing site support. Keep up-to-date technically on practical procedures, specialized techniques to apply new knowledge within the field. Regular communication with sales colleagues within territory to provide updates or intel gained in the field. Accompany sales colleagues, when requested, on sales calls to observe, learn and assist with subsequent technical support. Assist in collecting data for project or product specific testing and interpreting results. Assist in coordinating 3rd party testing certification/ approvals. Assist in creating instructional hands-on demonstrations in a classroom, distributor locations, or job site settings showing application of products.

EDUCATION:
HS Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree (AAS), or Trade School Certification, or Bachelor's Degree (BS) in a related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
One to two years' Field Technical Support experience and/or training.
In place of experience, a bachelor's degree will be considered. Possess a general understanding of field-testing methods and techniques.

The Field Support Specialist works closely with the Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to support and increase the sales activity in the Sales Representative's region.
Maintains accounts through prospecting, closing, and providing solid market presence including serving customers. Managing Accounts

Minimum: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or combination of education and experience. The Field Support Specialist works closely with the Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to support and increase the sales activity in the Sales Representative's region.
Maintains accounts through prospecting, closing, and providing solid market presence including serving customers. Developing Business Preparing and/or distributing marketing materials Inspection and evaluation of the property Preparing roof drawings and sketches Preparing scope of work documents Preparing proposals Attending sales calls Pricing patch and repair jobs Providing technical expertise Attending meetings with the architect, contractor and/or owner
Managing Accounts
Identifying, analyzing, resolving problems Preparing reports to owners regarding the condition of roofs. Project site visits to monitor installation of Tremco roofing products Identification of any aspect of installation that does not comply with specifications Review and resolve concerns of architects, contractors and owners regarding Tremco's installation instructions Coordinating visits with contractors Preparing reports on progress and problems for the Sales Representative. Minimum: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or combination of education and experience. Must have a minimum of two to three years of related hands-on experience and/or training in a similar role. Prior sales and/or customer related experience in roofing industry required. Qualifications: Thorough understanding and application of roofing and waterproofing contracting standards. Experience with MS Word, Excel and familiarity with CADD Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
During each term as a Process Engineering Co-Op they will have the opportunity to learn, experience and contribute to the operations of the polyurethane sealants and coatings manufacturing process.
The co-op will develop an understanding of the relationship between the manufacturing process and the various teams that support the process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will work in conjunction with the process and quality engineering group to support safety, quality, maintenance and production processes.
Learn and use process tools such as Process Safety Management, Behavioral Risk Improvement and Lean Six-Sigma tools including 5S, A3 Problem Solving, Statistical Process Control and Value Stream Mapping.
Interaction with the plant will be part of the daily routine.
Some responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Lead small projects for improvement of a process or equipment. Collect data for process waste reduction.
Edit or create P&IDs.
Work alongside Process Engineers on Capital Expense Projects.
Conduct meetings to communicate information or collaborate on projects.
Serve as a back-up for the Quality Lab Safety.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Must be a sophomore, junior or senior in good academic standing, pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical, electrical or mechanical engineering at an accredited college or university.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
No prior experience or training required.
Experience with manufacturing is encouraged but not required.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Understanding process variance and the resultant effects on Quality.
Knowledge of applied statistics.
Ability to perform problem analysis utilizing problem solving methodology.
