Summary:
Carboline is seeking a Materials Coordinator at their facility in Green Bay, WI.
The Materials Coordinator manages all warehouse stock for rework, recertification, or evaluation.
The individual is also responsible for inventory control of raw materials and containers.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree (Business preferred) or equivalent experience, with two years prior Warehouse experience.
Proficient in Microsoft office.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance manuals and safety rules.
Ability to use a computer for all company required processes, procedures, and training.
Essential Functions:
Manage cycle counting and physical inventory procedures including variance control at the plant.
Coordinate with shipping on the disbursement of finished goods to the distribution center.
Report and investigate raw material outages/shortages and expiring material.
Review and monitor pre-stage batching materials for accuracy and ensure inventory integrity.
Identify slow-moving raw materials and relocate to other production facilities as needed.
Perform periodic raw material reviews for changes in trend.
Coordinate with plant to apply existing N Material into production batches, maximizing possible opportunities to rework per existing material rules.
Maintain proper housekeeping procedures to provide a safe working environment.
Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner.
Works with HazMat companies to develop profiles for classification of waste and proper disposal timelines.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Commitment to the Company's Safety and Quality programs.
Take an active role in hazard recognition and injury prevention by following all safety rules & regulations

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The 3rd Shift Certified Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of process and facility-related equipment.
Equipment inspection includes preventative maintenance (PM) and associated documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Comply with all safety policies (especially Cardinal Rules - e.g., Hot Work, LOTO, and line breaking).
Partner with Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Manager to support LEAN initiatives to eliminate unplanned production interruptions due to process equipment failure.
Implement the needed preventative measures, including optimization of the PM program.
Ensure reliable operation of facility support processes and utilities (i.e., HVAC, Air Compressors, Tow motors, Hot Oil Heaters, and chiller systems).
Diagnose/Troubleshoot, repair/replace, and maintain facility electrical systems (e.g.
programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, and lighting) and components (e.g.
sensors, switches, valves, PLCs, and control wiring), and mechanical systems (e.g.
product vessels/reactors, pumps) and components.
Investigate equipment/process failures and difficulties to diagnose and troubleshoot faulty operation.
Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in arranging and coordinating contractors, safety permits, and tasks to support facility and process maintenance/repairs.
Serve, as needed, on process hazard analysis (PHA) teams/sessions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
One-year certificate from college or technical school.
Maintenance Mechanic Certificate or equivalent as deemed by the company.
Industrial Technology program graduate preferred.
Two to four years related experience and/or training.
Experience in LEAN manufacturing.
Military mechanical experience is a plus.
Experience in chemical/coating processing & production preferred.
Experience in dispensing operations preferred.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Journeyman cards in various disciplines are preferred.
Ability to work overtime as needed.

Resolves production planning issues.

Assist with additional schedules to cover shortages at other plants when necessary.
Plans annual physical inventory activities and other special projects as necessary.
Interface with the department manager and the Corporate SIOP team to control inventory variances.

Requirements
Associates degree preferred.
1 - 3 years of experience in relevant field.
Analytical skills in forecasting and anticipation of production needs.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Familiar with SAP and the scheduling codes associated with the program (CM29).
Statistical control skills.
