With a strong focus on growth and customer satisfaction, we're looking for a dynamic and experienced Technical Field Sales Executive or Technical Area Sales Manager to join our team.
As a Technical Field Sales Executive / Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, building lasting customer relationships, and promoting our high-quality electro-mechanical solutions across your designated region.
You will work closely with engineers and customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and business growth.
Ideally Located - M62 Corridor - Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, Hull, Warrington, Salford, Bradford, Birmingham
Salary - Basic Circa £45K plus bonus (£10K) - Company Car - 25 days Hols (plus BH 33 total) - Pension - Health Care - DIS - Laptop - Mobile - Fully Remote
Key Responsibilities / Role:
Negotiate contracts, manage pricing, and close sales.
Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to foster repeat business and customer loyalty.
Experience in technical field sales or technical area sales management, preferably within the electro-mechanical or similar sectors.
Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate technical products / solutions.
A consultative approach to selling.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to maximise sales opportunities.

JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Responsible for creating drawings to be incorporated with Business Operations services.
Performs daily production activities as needed to process inspection forms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze data entered into roofing software by the production department or field tech reps. Revise data per acceptable roofing practice, Tremco standards, and rules of grammar. Create individual drawings for each building as well as site plans when provided. Upon completion of projects notify the sales rep and building owner, the data is available online for them to view. Create drawing packages for special projects such as bid packages. Make necessary revisions to drawings. Prioritize all work by due dates. Perform other duties as assigned. Provide a summary report weekly on discrepancies and progress on large projects.
(Summary report due every Friday by 3 p.m.) Perform job functions per ISO Standards Fill out the job tracking form found on the front of each folder (traditional jobs). Fill out a drawing sheet for each project (traditional jobs). Fill out weekly timesheets (traditional jobs). Learn electronic workflow tools.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proficient in use of AutoCAD, Visual CAD Roof CAD. High School Diploma or the equivalent in education and experience required. Computer skills (All versions of AutoCAD, Visual CAD, Microsoft Office software, Bing Maps, and Google Earth - Aerial Imagine Programs). Ability to follow timelines and department standards. Ability to prioritize. Ability to manage multiple priorities, effective Team Player, self-motivated, quick learner. Familiar with single-flow principles. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The WTI Field Resource Foreman (Foreman) oversees and performs the safety, efficiency, and quality of the WTI field service business.
Safety is our primary priority and will be embedded into every discussion, meeting, and project.
As the clear and established leader of the WTI crew, the Foreman is focused on safety, crew management, and efficient execution of all WTI projects assigned within their respective region.
It is the Foreman's responsibility to deliver timely service to all WTI customers and manage exposure to risks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct the daily onsite safety brief before the start of the WTI project with the Sales Rep, customer, and the WTI crew.
Inspect and ensure all surroundings, equipment, and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns.
Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit it to the Supervisors as applicable.
The foreman also ensures that all technicians complete the Daily Hazard Analysis. Ensure all project communication is completed before the start of any WTI project.
This includes but is not limited to communication with: WTI Field Resources Supervisor (Supervisor) daily and before starting new projects (ensure any/all communication with the Sales Reps is also shared with the Supervisor.
Sales Rep weekly and/or as needed and before new projects.
WTI crew members will discuss the scope of work, daily tasks, and the overall schedule. Customer/Client (as needed or required by the Sales Rep) daily and/or weekly.
Efficient management of projects will include managing the crew's start and end times, daily productivity (hours, man-days, etc.), and ensuring tools and materials are available to complete the assigned project safely and efficiently.
Complete the project per the approved scope of work or specification and after issuance by the Supervisor.
Using a designated company-mandated reporting tool, the Foreman will complete an end-of-day and/or end-of-project walk-through to ensure the quality of workmanship and address any punch list items before leaving the job site.
These items will include updates on work performed, materials consumed (T&M projects), and supplies purchased.
Ensure all WTI Field Resources Reps (Field Reps) have a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services for a customer.
Responsible for ordering, tracking, and monitoring inventory and ensuring quarterly cycle counts are completed and submitted timely.
Provide pricing for self-performing projects over $12,500.
Submit all proposals of over $20,000 to the Supervisor for review and approval before submitting them to the GS Administrator for logging and distribution to the Sales Rep.
Monitor and manage the Field Reps.
Consult with the Supervisor to take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee work-related issues and necessary documentation.
Work with the Supervisor to elevate the issues to HR as required.
Coordinate with the Supervisor to create project schedules.
Review time reports daily and make necessary corrections with the admin team.
Attending all appropriate calls, meetings, and trainings.
Perform any other duties and/or projects as required or assigned by the Supervisor or Regional Business Manager.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: 30-hour OSHA certification Registered Roof Observer (RRO) is preferred but not required. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Minimum of five years of experience in the roofing industry.
Must be thoroughly familiar with built-up, EPDM, PVC, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems, as well as metal and other steep-sloop roofing systems, and how to repair them properly Ability to travel out of town, including overnight stays.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to work weekends and/or holidays when needed. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct the daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project with the Sales Rep, customer and the WTI Crew.
Inspect and ensure all surroundings, equipment and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns.
Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit to the Supervisors as applicable Ensure all project communication is completed prior to the start of any WTI project.
This includes but is not limited to communication with: Sales Rep on weekly/daily schedule WTI crew members to discuss scope of work and daily tasks The customer pre-arrival, at arrival and at completion of the day's work WTI Supervisor on schedule changes, project, and crew updates, etc. Efficient project management will include managing crew start and end times and production rates, ensuring tools and materials are available to complete the assigned project safely and efficiently, and completing the project per the scope or work or specification. The WTI Foreman will complete an end of day and/or end of project walk through to ensure quality repairs and address any items prior to leaving the job site.
Before and after pictures will be sent to the Sales Rep and information will be sent daily on project status.
These items will include, detailed work performed updates, materials consumed, and supplies purchases are all recording daily. Ensure that all WTI Field Reps will have a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services for a customer. The Field Resource Foreman is responsible for the ordering, tracking, and monitoring inventory and ensure Quarterly cycle counts are completed and submitted timely. Per pricing procedures review each field service project over $5,000 for pricing accuracy. Submit all projects over $20,000 to the WTI Supervisor prior to submitting to the Sales Rep or customer. Manage, monitor, and document performance of Field Resource Reps and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work-related issues.
Consult with WTI Field Resource Supervisor and Human Resources as needed. Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the WTI Supervisor and/or Regional Manager.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum five years' experience in the commercial roofing industry. Must be thoroughly familiar with built-up, EPDM, PVC, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems as well as metal and other steep slope roofing systems and how to properly repair them. This includes calculating costs for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and any other expenses associated with the project.
Ensures a smooth transition from design to project execution, providing technical guidance and insights during and after construction. Other duties as assigned by the manager.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Engineer Intern (EI) Certification Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of industry-specific experience. Experience with construction drafting in AutoCAD. EI certification with the ability to obtain a PE license preferred. Advanced Microsoft Office Suite knowledge preferred. Experience with a programming language (VBA, C#, etc.) preferred.
