Essential Functions:
Develops and implements Stonhard's Four Phase Sales Training Program for all new Territory Managers in their first two years with the organization.
The Training & Development Manager will identify, implement, benchmark and improve sales training and performance solutions for all TMs with a value based sales approach
Required to work closely with the Director of Sales Training and VP Sales to develop, launch and manage the appropriate sales training strategies to meet area/regional and corporate goals and objectives.
Monitors all TM performance and communicates with Sales managers to determine the best possible methods of assistance in problem areas.
Assist in the design and development of training programs for the Area Sales Managers to assist in the continued education of all field personnel.
Ensure quality of sales training programs through continuous monitoring and evaluation
Initiates follow-up field rides with new TM's providing direct on-the-job training and coaching.
Assists in sales hiring as necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous sales training experience in a complex business environment.
Ability to work with cross functional groups for whom the trainer will have no reporting relationship.
Knowledge of multimedia and audio-visual equipment required.
Extensive experience developing and delivering sales training programs.
Strong instructional design skills.
Excellent stand-up training platform delivery skills.
Experience with development of sales orientated web-based training programs.
Superb listening, writing, and coaching skills.
Ability to work independently with teams.
Strong project management skills.

They're looking for a hands-on, commercially minded Financial Controller / Finance Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, lead a small team, and work closely with the wider business across management accounts, business partnering, and systems and process improvements.

THE FINANCIAL CONTROLLER / FINANCE MANAGER ROLE:
As Financial Controller, you'll be reporting to the MD, leading a team of 3 and taking full responsibility for the day-to-day finance function
Ownership of monthly management accounts, MI analysis, operational KPIs, and production of the board pack
Cashflow management and forecasting
Annual budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis
Partnering with department leads and the SLT to provide insight, challenge, and support decision-making
Reviewing and enhancing financial controls and processes
Leading systems migration from Sage to a modern ERP, alongside implementation of real-time KPI dashboards (e.g.
Power BI)
Oversight of weekly and monthly payroll
Management of the asset register (inc.
high value assets) and depreciation
Liaising with external accountants on year-end, audit, and statutory submissions
Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
Reviewing and refining the bonus scheme and reward model
Monthly reporting to the Group FD, plus ad hoc analysis, projects, and reporting
THE PERSON
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified is essential
Currently operating in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Head of Finance, Finance Business Partner, or similar role (e.g.
Senior Management Accountant), with experience leading a small finance team and delivering monthly management accounts
Experience within an SME environment (c.
up to £40m turnover), either currently or previously
Background in an industrial sector (e.g.
Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics, Construction, Plant Hire, Distribution), including experience of asset register management and depreciation of high-value assets (e.g.
vehicles, machinery)
Strong systems experience, ideally including systems migration or implementation; Sage experience highly advantageous
Advanced MS Excel skills, with experience using tools such as Power BI

Key Responsibilities
- Data Pipeline Development: Design and create complex data pipelines that facilitate seamless data import from external vendors and partners into our central data platform.
- Platform Development & Testing: Enhance the data platform by implementing updates to meet evolving business needs.
Regularly test and troubleshoot systems to ensure effectiveness.
- Platform Maintenance & Data Reliability: Maintain platform integrity and ensure consistent access to essential data.
Verify data quality and integrity vital for decision-making processes.
- Continuous Improvement & Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to streamline data access and usability while driving innovation with advanced analytics technologies.
Required Experience & Skills
- Must have 3-6 years of experience in a data engineering or similar role.
- Required a minimum 2.1 degree in Computer Science or a related field from a Russell Group University.
- Mandatory experience in hedge funds is essential.
- Necessary expertise in designing and building data pipelines.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, AWS, and other data management technologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and orchestration tools (Airflow).
- Ability to test and troubleshoot data platforms effectively.
- Track record of improving data reliability and quality.
- Excellent communication skills and effective collaboration in a team environment.
- Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.
Dealbreakers (Non-Negotiable Requirements)
- Must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
- Experience in a hedge fund environment is required.
- A minimum of 2 years proven experience as a Data Engineer.
- A minimum 2.1 degree or above in Computer Science or a related field from a Russell Group University.

- Experience with machine learning techniques and frameworks.
