Our client is an exciting and rapidly growing investment technology company whose cloud-based platform is transforming the way some of the world's leading financial institutions manage their investment data and operations.
Following continued growth, they are looking for a talented Senior Business Analyst to join their highly skilled team.
They are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong Investment Management and Investment Operations knowledge who genuinely understands the Investment Lifecycle and how investment products and data flow from front to back office.
A strong understanding of IBOR (Investment Book of Record) environments would be particularly valuable.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work directly with clients to understand their operating models, investment workflows and data challenges before translating complex business requirements into effective solutions on a modern investment platform.
You'll need excellent Investment Management domain knowledge and a strong understanding of the Investment Lifecycle, Investment Operations, financial products and IBOR.
This isn't a traditional documentation-heavy Business Analyst position.
They are looking for someone who can combine strong Investment Management knowledge with excellent client-facing and problem-solving skills.
Experience of Investment Operations, IBOR and the wider Investment Lifecycle is considerably more important than advanced technical skills.
Exposure to SQL, Python and APIs would be desirable but is not essential.
They are particularly interested in people from asset management, investment technology, investment data, implementation, consulting or Investment Operations backgrounds.
You should be comfortable discussing complex Investment Management processes with senior stakeholders and have a strong understanding of IBOR, financial products and the Investment Lifecycle.
Any experience with SQL, Python, APIs or data integration would be advantageous.
The successful Senior Business Analyst will combine excellent communication and client-facing skills with deep Investment Management and Investment Operations knowledge.
You should understand IBOR and the Investment Lifecycle from front to back and be comfortable working within a technology-led environment.
Knowledge of investment data, fixed income and other asset classes would be highly advantageous.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
3-5+ years of experience developing and supporting data solutions, data integration processes, or data engineering initiatives.
Proficiency in SQL and modern data management concepts.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and database management principles.
Experience integrating and validating data from enterprise business applications, including ERP systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot data quality and integration issues.
Understanding of data governance, security, and data quality best practices.
Experience working with Business Intelligence and Analytics teams to deliver trusted, business-ready data.

Benefits and Compensation
The pay range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $95,000 and $120,000 annually.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
RPM end of month reporting based on brand/region analyzing sales trends & PVM effects on margin.
End-of-month reporting based on select customer list defined by Pricing Manager/Pricing Director (including sales trends + PVM effects).
End-of month reporting on Price Effect including validation/analysis against automated tools to ensure no errors across all reports.
Weekly reporting for low-margin items/transactions across all Tremco brands/regions.
Ad-hoc updates to Pricing Master for new items/item updates including all respective updates to price lists and GM% files.
Build out all load files necessary for Ops team to execute.
Includes maintenance for PowerBI price lists + necessary Sharepoint reference files.
Assist Pricing Manager with data validation/testing regarding PowerBI models/dashboards and major IT projects (RPM One, Tremco Data Lake etc.)
Ad-hoc development of PowerBI models/dashboards.
Identify opportunities where PowerBI can be leveraged to automate manual Excel processes/reports.
Execute ad-hoc queries in SQL and build respective Excel reports.
Prepare and present internal customer facing analytics.
Identify opportunities to improve/streamline existing reporting methods/processes to ensure optimal turnaround times and improve data quality.
Keeping informed on pricing analysis methods and industry trends.
Continued learning on current data science methodologies (Python, Databricks, etc.
Analyzing competitor pricing and market trends to increase market share and profitability.
EDUCATION:
A Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or in a related field.
A Master's degree in business administration will be advantageous.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of two to four years' experience as a pricing analyst in a similar industry.
Experience in Chemical, Building Materials and/or Industrial Product industry experience preferred
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proficiency in business intelligence (BI) software, such as PowerBI.
