The Role of the Design Engineer
As the Design Engineer you will be producing Temporary Works designs and drawings on a day-to-day basis
Produce one-off project work as directed by the Engineering Manager, Chief Engineer or Senior Engineers
Provide technical support to the sales team / customer (project related / non-project related)
Self-management of allocated workload to meet customer / business demand
Based in the company’s North West Office
The Ideal Person for the Design Engineer
Minimum 2:1 in Civil Engineering (BEng, BSc)
Ideally a graduate member of ICE or IStructE, but this is not essential.
Understanding/interest of temporary works, structural or geotechnical design
Technically competent and confident communicator
Organised, self-motivated, and a keen learner
Will be confident using AutoCAD.
Experience with Revit would be beneficial.
Training will be provided.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced design environment

Laboratory / Materials Technician - Construction Materials (Plate Load & CBR Testing)
Location: Remote / UK-wide (regular travel - company car provided) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (40 hrs) Pay: Competitive hourly rate + overtime & weekend pay
Our client is seeking an experienced Laboratory / Materials Technician to carry out field testing of soils and construction materials, specialising in Plate Load and CBR (California Bearing Ratio) testing.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills who enjoys hands-on site work and regular travel across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Plate Load and In-Situ CBR tests on construction and civil engineering sites.
Prepare and condition soil and aggregate samples (BS 1377 / BS EN ISO 22476).
Calibrate and maintain field testing equipment.
Record and report accurate test data.
Liaise with engineers and clients to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
Experience in construction materials or geotechnical testing
Proficiency in Plate Load / CBR testing
Valid CSCS card
Full UK driving licence
Safety-conscious and able to work independently

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
Prime Resins is seeking a determined, self-starting, and enterprising Sales Representative within the Great Lakes region (MI, WI, IL, IN, OH) with experience in the Water/Wastewater market to expand our presence in the marketplace.
This position is responsible for both selling and generating new business with Prime Resins product line which includes maintaining existing customers while also developing new prospects to grow volume, revenue, and increase profitability of the assigned territory.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's in Business or a Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 1 year of individual sales experience.
Valid Driver's License.
Preferred Requirements
Technical knowledge in engineering, water/wastewater, or another related field.
Self-starter with time management and planning skills.
Aptitude to learn as well as gain understanding of relative concepts quickly.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g.
Salesforce).
High level of interpersonal skills and verbal diplomacy.
Physical Requirements
This position requires minimal physical activity.
May require lifting up to 50lbs on occasion.
May require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day.
Occasional exposure to various chemicals.
May require travel by car up to 50%, including nighttime.
Essential Functions
Communicate with new and existing customers to understand their needs then help them select the best solution to build sales volume.
Remain abreast of customer requirements and assess market trends.
Engage customers and prospective customers to inform them of products, new releases, services available, supply, etc.
Provides technical assistance when necessary.
Identify and follow up with leads.
Via SalesForce and other sources and document activity.
Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the company's relationship with them.
Develop action plans to facilitate the implementation of sales programs.
Maintain technical and professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in professional societies, establishing personal networks, and attending trade shows to position Prime Resins in the forefront of the industry.
Plan for the achievement of individual and company targets in alignment with the strategies and policies of Prime Resins.
Keep current with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand and competitors to maintain sales volume and product mix.
Positively contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results.
Develop and maintain channels with distributors and resellers.
