Position Summary:
Carboline Global is seeking a Plant Production Scheduling Coordinator for our manufacturing facility in Lake Charles, LA.
This individual will be responsible production scheduling for the facility, maintain and order production supplies, running reports, and updating plant KPI data.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are a must.
Job Duties:
Print batch tickets as required for manufacturing execution.
Review and validate total demand requirements for product batches for optimal batch size and proper warehouse allocation.
Respond to informal product requests from proper approval sources for batch priorities and visibilities.
Determine manufacturing resource requirement and schedule resources for optimal utilization.
Review resource constraints i.e., materials, labor equipment and adjust schedules accordingly taking into account all contingency plans.
Notify appropriate parties if schedule needs to be modified and affects customer promise dates.
Verifies all production batch tickets for accuracy of allocations notifying specific departments for correction of discrepancies.
Inputs daily information for production batches completed onto spreadsheet(s) for monitoring specific batch information and downtime KPI's.

Schedule programs and events while maintaining an up-to-date calendar. Book venues and arrange necessary equipment. Order catering to ensure a pleasant participant experience. Secure and schedule trainers for various programs. Prepare and distribute training materials, such as guides, feedback forms, and certificates of completion. Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
Share a detailed report with the Director of Learning. Monitor accounts receivable and expenses; ensure invoices are processed and paid on time. Troubleshoot issues as they arise, such as rescheduling sessions or making adjustments to participant schedules. Assist with on-the-day training coordination at Tremco University Rhode Island: Set up training venues, ensuring all equipment and materials are in place. Welcome participants, manage sign-ins, and provide any necessary instructions for the day. Act as the primary point of contact during events to quickly address and resolve any issues. GENERAL SUMMARY
Make all intermediates and finished products by adding specific quantities of certain raw materials and/or intermediates to a batch tank or grinding mill according to a written formula using proper batch making techniques and safe methods.
This position also requires application and monitoring of established quality procedures and methods for production batches.
Expedites and follows up changes to allow for prescribed quality standards.
Request raw materials for use in formulas.
Position requires knowledge of batch making techniques, machinery operation, scales and meter use, and formula knowledge.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned. Weigh and/or measure out quantities of solvents, resins, pigments (or dispersions), and additives into blending tanks or grinding mills according to a batch ticket. Tend mixing or grinding equipment and maintain control over time, heat, mix speed, etc. Upon batch completion, take product sample to QC Lab for QC checks. Check production batches by comparison to standards Make adjustments to batch as necessary Recheck batch after adjustments are made until product is within standard product specifications Use proper analytical tools to compare product to standard specs and to wet and/or dry samples Record results of comparison and record onto batch card Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Customer Service Representative provides customer service to external customers (distributors, contractors, design teams, and building owners) and internal customers (sales representatives) as it relates to processing product orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Respond to customer calls, emails, and faxed requests.
Handle large volumes of calls, emails, and faxes.
