JOB DESCRIPTION
DAP is looking to hire Process Engineer for our Baltimore Plant.
Responsibilities
Provide process engineering support for raw materials, compounding, production, and packaging functions to improve safety, and support the MS 168 continuous improvement process.
Production Support
Support daily production needs through process troubleshooting, experimentation and support for production requirements.
Continuous Improvement
Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce cost, increase material utilization, improve first time right, integrate new products/processes into production and reduce variation.
Implement necessary changes and update all documentation (including drawings and SOP's) accordingly
Capital Plan
Coordinates with plant engineer to oversee capital projects necessary for the continued improvement and modernization of the plant.
Ensure completion of projects within budgets.
Safety
Responsible for achieving and maintaining safety goals relative to the maintenance and engineering functions.
Responsible for safety devices, safe design, etc.

Administer process hazard analyses (PHA's) for identified materials, processes, and RHP Compliance
MS 168
Support the tier meeting process by the implementation and analysis of data collection and visual management systems.
Environmental Program reporting
Support the site's environmental program by assisting with reporting, compliance monitoring, and QA results in support of process engineering improvements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial engineering
2+ years' experience in manufacturing environment.
Six Sigma/lean manufacturing experience.
Understanding of process control methods, flowmeters, level monitors, and other process controls within a batch manufacturing process.
Ability to read and interpret process drawings (process flow diagrams and P&ID's).
PLC with ladder logic analysis.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
PC usage with MS Office Suite (AutoCAD experience a plus), strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills both written and verbal.

Design and plan layout of equipment.
Prepare estimate of production costs and production progress reports for management.
Design measurement and control systems for chemical plants based on data collected in laboratory experiments and in pilot plant operations.
Develop processes to separate components of liquids or gases or generate electrical currents using controlled chemical processes.

Requirements

AutoCAD, Microsoft Office software, spreadsheets, and financial management skills;

As a Fire Door Assessor, you will be conducting detailed inspections and assessments of fire doors within residential properties to ensure they meet current safety and compliance standards.
This role offers hybrid working options, a salary of £32,000 and benefits
You Will Be Responsible For:
* Carrying out thorough inspections of fire doors to evaluate their condition, functionality, and compliance with current UK fire safety regulations.
* Identifying and documenting any defects, maintenance requirements, or non-compliance issues.
* Producing accurate, detailed reports including photographic evidence and suggested remedial actions.
* Ensuring that all fire doors close correctly and that seals, latches, and hardware are functioning as required.
* Working collaboratively with maintenance and property management teams to arrange prompt corrective work.
* Keeping meticulous records for auditing and compliance purposes.
What We Are Looking For
* Previously worked as a Fire Door Assessor, Fire Door Inspector, Fire Door Surveyor, Fire Door Compliance Assessor, Fire Door Inspection Engineer, Fire Door Technician, Fire Door Auditor, Fire Door Safety Assessor, Fire Safety Assessor, Fire Risk Assessor, Fire Safety Officer, Fire Safety Consultant, Passive Fire Protection Assessor, Fire Safety Surveyor, Fire Safety Engineer, Fire Safety Specialist, Fire Protection Inspector or in a similar role.
* Certified Fire Door Inspector qualification (such as BM TRADA Q-Mark, IFSM Level 4 Fire Safety, or equivalent).
* A comprehensive understanding of UK fire safety legislation and building regulations.
* Proven experience inspecting, assessing, and reporting on fire doors within residential settings.
* A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with flexibility to travel nationwide.
* Confident in using inspection tools and digital reporting systems.
