This position supports the operation of the Distribution Center through efficient execution of a variety of duties such as accurate order picking, safety and quality audits, UPS, reclaim/rework and housekeeping, cycle counting and general warehousing duties as needed or required.
Responsibilities:
Utilize RF scanner and unit to read information from the Manhattan system to pull cases of finished goods from the designated bin location
Build pallets according to DAP standards in terms of layout, pallet requirements, labeling, wrapping and loading
Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory through proper utilization of RF devices, accurate counts, and recording/reporting of all discrepancies and damaged product.
Assist in physical inventories
Maintains a safe work environment ensuring that all DC policies and practices are followed.
Upholds an acceptable level of housekeeping in all areas of responsibility
Abides by all DC safety rules and regulations
Works in other areas as required by business needs
Requirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse environment
Ability to safely operator a walkie-rider and pallet jack after training completion
Ability to operate RF scanner
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the scheduled work day
Must be able to stand and/or walk for the entire scheduled shift
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION DUTIES/TASKS:
Satellite Hazardous Waste Accumulation
Production tank/Cleaning/filling
1.
Production Quality Lab Technicians may have to dispose of product samples, line flush, off-spec product, or expired product retain samples.
This waste material is transferred to the hazardous waste satellite accumulation drum.
2.
Production workers clean equipment and tanks pre-rinse, wipe, scrub, and final rinse surfaces using wash solvent, brushes and rags.
Dirty solvent is transferred to the satellite accumulation area.
3.
Transfer used wash solvent to the satellite accumulation drum or tank.
4.
Ensure hazardous waste storage or accumulation containers remain sealed except during the addition or removal of waste.
5.
Ensure Hazardous Waste storage containers are clearly labeled "Hazardous Waste."
6.
Care must be exercised when introducing waste into the satellite accumulation drum.
Do not drop on floor or area.
In the case of any spilled material, spills or drops shall be cleaned up immediately.
7.
When 55 gallons has accumulated, the satellite accumulation container must be moved to a permanent hazardous waste storage area within 3 days and relabeled "Hazardous Waste."
REQUISITE SKILL, EDUCATION, OR OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge and understanding of the chemical characteristics of the wastes which they are assigned to handle or control (i.e., flammability, toxics, incompatibilities, etc.).

Type of protective equipment and clothing to be worn.

Production tank/Cleaning/filling

Production Quality Lab Technicians may have to dispose of product samples, line flush, off-spec product, or expired product retain samples.
This waste material is transferred to the hazardous waste satellite accumulation drum.
2.
Production workers clean equipment and tanks pre-rinse, wipe, scrub, and final rinse surfaces using wash solvent, brushes and rags.
Dirty solvent is transferred to the satellite accumulation area.
3.
Transfer used wash solvent to the satellite accumulation drum or tank.
4.
Ensure hazardous waste storage or accumulation containers remain sealed except during the addition or removal of waste.
5.
Ensure Hazardous Waste storage containers are clearly labeled "Hazardous Waste."
6.
Care must be exercised when introducing waste into the satellite accumulation drum.
Do not drop on floor or area.
In the case of any spilled material, spills or drops shall be cleaned up immediately.
7.
When 55 gallons has accumulated, the satellite accumulation container must be moved to a permanent hazardous waste storage area within 3 days and relabeled "Hazardous Waste."

Our client, a long-established electronics manufacturing and product development organisation, are looking for an Electronics Laboratory Technician in Newbury to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity within a fast-paced innovation environment, supporting prototype development, testing, and laboratory activities, with clear progression towards a Junior Electronics Engineer role.
Key responsibilities of the Electronics Laboratory Technician job in Newbury:
Support prototype builds, PCB assembly, rework, and proof-of-concept activities.
Assist with board bring-up, testing, and basic fault finding under engineer guidance.
Carry out manual testing of electronic assemblies and embedded products.
Use laboratory equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
Perform soldering, de-soldering, and modification of prototype hardware.
Maintain laboratory equipment, tools, and stock in a safe and organised manner.
Record test results, build notes, and issue reports accurately.
Support component identification, BOM checking, and sample preparation.
Assist with PCB and assembly inspection to identify faults or quality issues.
Support EMC testing activities and operate test equipment where required.
Work closely with engineers, contributing to project discussions and continuous improvement activities.
Experience required for the Electronics Laboratory Technician job in Newbury:
Relevant qualification(HNC/HND, BTEC, T-Level, apprenticeship or similar) in Electronics or a related field.
Strong hands-on interest in electronics, testing, and product development.
Basic understanding of electronic components, circuits, and PCB assemblies.
Some experience using test equipment such as multimeters or oscilloscopes.
Practical soldering skills or willingness to develop these.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow technical documentation.
