About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated PSV Technician to join our team in Castleford.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance and repair work on passenger service vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on PSV vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
- Ensure all work is completed to DVSA and company safety standards
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Work effectively within a team to ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as a PSV or HGV Technician
- Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent (preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety

Working as part of a manufacturing team, responsible for producing a variety of different products.
Setting and operating a variety of CNC machines (CNC Press Brake, CNC Laser).
Ensuring that all products and components adhere to customer specifications and requirements.
Carrying out heavy manual lifting.
Working Hours of the Machine Operator
Monday- Thursday: 17:00-05:00
Minimum Experience Required
Previous experience working within an engineering and manufacturing environment.
Previous experience operating machines.
Comfortable working with Steel and carrying out heavy lifting.
Comfortable working from engineering drawings.
In Return, the Machine Operator Will Receive
Hourly Rate: £17 Per Hour
4-day working week.
Overtime paid at a premium.
Salary increases after 12 weeks.
Holiday Entitlement: 28 Days (Including Bank Holiday
