If the employee meets certain criteria over a period of time, this position could become a regular full-time position.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Shipper/ Receiver personnel perform various duties in the daily operations within the warehouse.
They are responsible for receiving and checking all inbound and outbound freight and managing the movements of products within the facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for unloading trailers with inbound deliveries and checking/completing supporting documents. Responsible for the safe and accurate loading of all outbound freight. Responsible for the accurate consolidation of the partial skids in preparation for shipment. Responsible for accurately staging outbound loads daily. Responsible for wrapping all completed production skids. Responsible for processing and organizing the return area. Responsible for maintaining housekeeping expectations. Unload bulk deliveries into correct storage vessels.
EXPERIENCE
No prior experience or training. Previous forklift training is an asset but not required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must obtain an internal Forklift Truck driving license.

You will be responsible for:
* Keeping bedrooms, corridors, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas clean and presentable.
* Following cleaning schedules and completing routine checklists.
* Ensuring the laundry room remains clean, tidy and secure.
* Maintaining accurate sign-in/out records and always wearing the required uniform AND ID badge.
* Managing room turnovers and preparing spaces as needed during student intake or departure periods.
* Acting as a first point of contact for students with queries, concerns, or complaints.
* Reporting any signs of illness, distress, or potential safeguarding issues.
What we are looking for:
* Previously worked as a Cleaner, Cleaning Operative, School Cleaner, Facilities Cleaner, Cleaning Assistant, Housekeeper or in a similar role.
* Ideally have experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or laundry services within a residential or institutional setting
* An understanding of basic health & safety and hygiene standards.
* Ability to follow written instructions and complete routine forms.
