THE COMPANY:
We're working closely with a circa £20m Turnover business located in the Denton area that operates within an Industrial focused industry.
They're now looking for an experienced HR Manager to join the business.
As HR Manager you will be ensuring that all HR processes, employee compliance records, accreditation's, and governance requirements are effectively managed and maintained to a consistently high standard.
This is a hands-on role, requiring a balance of strategic oversight and day-to-day management of administrative, compliance, and HR processes.
The position will work closely with directors and operational teams to introduce structure, improve systems, and support the scalable growth of the business.
THE HR MANAGER ROLE:
Working closely with senior leadership to oversee all HR and compliance activity across the organisation
Managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, development, and employee relations matters
Advising line managers on a range of people issues including disciplinary, grievance, and performance-related cases
Manage compliance frameworks and accreditation's, such as ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
Reviewing and maintaining HR policies and procedures in line with current UK employment legislation
Ensuring adherence to relevant legislation, industry standards, and contractual obligations
Overseeing accreditation's and ensuring all compliance documentation is accurate and audit-ready
Assisting with and coordinating internal and external audit requirements
Maintaining employee compliance records including Right to Work, background checks, and training certifications
Supporting operational teams with Health & Safety and wider compliance requirements
Monitoring training needs and maintaining accurate training records and matrices
Coordinating learning, development, and early careers/apprenticeship initiatives
Liaising with external providers to support ongoing workforce development
Reviewing and enhancing HR and compliance processes, systems, and reporting capabilities
Producing regular updates and insights for senior stakeholders on people and compliance matters
Providing broader business support across administrative, compliance, and documentation processes as required
THE PERSON:
Proven experience in an HR role within a regulated, engineering, construction or similar environment
Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
Experience managing compliance frameworks, accreditation's, audits, and associated documentation
Highly organised with strong administrative skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced SME setting
Confident maintaining accurate employee records, including compliance and training data
Demonstrable experience managing compliance frameworks and industry accreditation's ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001
Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent), with exposure to public sector/framework compliance and experience improving HR or compliance systems

General Purpose:
The Field Safety Engineer will be responsible for providing support and safety oversight to regional Roofing and Weatherproofing Technologies field employees (including but not limited to Sales, Roofing Advisors, CSS, Field Resource Representatives, and leadership), ensuring site compliance with corporate and client safety standards, as well as ensuring site safety policies and procedures are aligned with governmental regulations.
This position will provide supervision and coordination of the day-to-day safety requirements of jobsites.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide support to projects by maintaining a visible presence and conducting site visits to perform safety audits and safety process audits (e.g., safety document evaluation/compliance)
*this should take place at least 80% of the week
* Enforce all Federal, State, local, owner and Tremco regulations throughout all Roofing regional projects. Assist site leadership to develop site-specific safety programs aligned with Tremco Field Services Safety policies and instruct supervisors on safety procedures, planning and equipment. Assist Regional Field Safety Managers with rolling out new safety initiatives and briefing employees as needed on new policies, or changes in existing policies, to keep current (e.g., Daily Task Planning, 100% audit compliance, safety training programs) Educate the workforce and regional leadership on understanding Tremco's safety cultural advancements, such as safety leadership and safety management systems. Assist in the coaching, mentoring and implementation of Tremco Health and Safety programs in the field, to ensure that all safety expectations are understood and met. Participate with and/or conduct Toolbox Talk Meetings with Regional team employees. Regularly review and be familiar with all applicable legislation and applicable standards, to ensure compliance. Effectively represent our Tremco safety culture with our subcontractors and help Tremco site leadership to ensure complete compliance of our subcontractors to applicable rules and regulations (Federal, State, local, owner, Tremco and their own). Motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure safety practices and policies are being adhered to effectively. As a direct report to, regularly communicate safety audit results and/or field safety concerns (e.g., Stop Work Authority) with Assistant Safety Director and prepare observation reports as needed. Regularly audit the Site-Specific Safety and Health Plans for compliance and update to ensure the alignment with project scope and conditions. Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately per the Tremco Incident Notification Policy. Participate and assist all field leadership in the investigation of incidents to determine root cause, and corrective actions where necessary. Ensure incident corrective actions are followed up on and completed. Monitor and follow up on modified workers in the field. Must adhere to all company policies and procedures. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Occupational Health & Safety preferred) or 5+ Years of Construction experience with high school diploma. Minimum of two years of construction safety field experience required. OSHA 10- and 30-hour certification required. Knowledge of the 1926 OSHA Regulations. Working Knowledge on how to develop, implement, and audit a Daily Task Analysis for Employees and Subcontractors. Proficient written and oral communication skills. Proficient Computer Skills- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Willingness to travel/work remotely 80% or greater.

Partner with Product Management to identify portfolio gaps and pursue RPM global technologies, M&A and sourcing opportunities with the Business Development group to fill product/system needs.
Own Tremco technology roadmaps to develop a proactive, long-term product/category strategy vision.
Initiate and support strategic alliances to strengthen category and segment strategies.
Drive development of market-facing tools, collateral, and sales/marketing activations to generate demand and end-user adoption of products and services.
Provide strategic guidance to the Tremco CPG organization to communicate and reinforce the "Power of One" value messaging across all channels and segments.
Deliver financial objective results and commitments within Tremco CPG business plans and strategies.
Work closely with marketing communications to ensure our branding and messaging is aligned with our category, segment and channel strategies.
Lead the direct supervision of team members where applicable, including coaching, skills and career development.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: MBA (Master of Business Administration) with a concentration in Strategy, Marketing, or Finance, Master of Science in Construction Management, or other related degree in a similar study focus.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
10 or more years of experience in either B2B product, brand or channel management or construction industry experience.
Retail channel experience is required.
Direct exposure to retail goods clients.
(e.g., Home Depot, Lowe's, Menards Ace Hardware, regional home centers & distributors)
Experienced in consumer of trade product portfolio, pricing, promotion, positing and placement strategy and management.
Management experience is a plus.

Ability to understand relationships and connections, generate charts graphs, spreadsheets and written summaries

Ability to manage multiple priorities, effective team player, self-manager and quick learner.
Active industry organization participation including committee participation
Demonstrated industry-related thought leadership; May include presentation at an industry-related trade show, conference that is national or regional in nature; or publication in an industry-related journal or magazine
Experience in generating strategic business plans and market execution activities.
Complete Tremco Product Level 100 Training
TRAVEL REQUIRED: Up to 25% domestic and international travel with passport required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $115,500 and $140,000 plus incentive compensation.
This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
